I am who I am
I am me
It doesn't matter what you think about me
It doesn't matter what I mean to you
Even though sometimes I try to make you understand me
I try so hard
I try my best
I gave it my all
But you never seem to care about it
You try to make me pretend to be what I am not
You always make me feel like I am nothing to you
Like I am nobody
I still ask myself over and over again
Do I really mean nothing to you?
Was I just a mistake?
Am I just a thought that went by?
I never seem to have answers to those questions
Why don't you tell me, please
I wish you could just make me understand
I hope you understand someday
That your actions hurt me
more than your words stab me.
