Accidentally in Love

I think I did it again

Fell in love even after I said that I wouldn't

And I know,

You want to remain just friends

My ears heard you,

It's just my heart that's not comprehending

And I'm sorry,

But I promise I'll work on it.

I don't know what to do yet,

But I promise I'll put some thoughts into it

I promise you it wasn't intentional,

I accidentally fell in love

Because this time, I actually stop staring for too long,

Because I know my eyes just can't take it,

I stopped spending so much time with you,

So my mind can stop thinking about you

I stopped making most of my thoughts about you,

Because I know my pen won't stop writing about you,

But here I am again

Writing about you.

But please don't leave me,

I know I said this the last time,

But I promise I'll work on it,

I just don't know how to stop loving you,

I already pictured us in a relationship

One in which I am happy in,

And for me to stop loving you?

It just feels like I'm taking my own happiness from myself,

But I'll stop

I think of ways to stop

Maybe you can tell me some of your imperfections?

Wait, you probably don't have none,

And even if you do,

It'll probably only give me reasons to love you more,

Maybe you can be mean to me,

Say some harsh words maybe?

Eh, I don't really see that working

I'll probably trick my mind into believing you're just having a bad day,

Besides, couples argue right?

Yeah, I know we're not couples yet,

I mean we'll probably never be a couple

I don't know what I'm trying to say.

I just know I want you to be close to me,

Even if you want to be just friends.

But the thing is my heart wants to be broken again,

Because it knows better than to fall in love again

And I know you don't want to hurt me,

That's why I'm looking for ways to fall out of love with you.
