That one fish gasping for its life in the fish store
Some will think it's funny
You might think its a joke
You might think it is scary
That a fish is fighting for its life
But when humans do it,
They get pitied
That one fish fighting for survival in the fish store
That one fish that "don't deserve to live. "
Because it looks "funny" that is the one you want
Not one look of pity did it get from you
That poor little fish hoping for survival
The center of attention at the fish store
People pointing at it thinking its funny
You might think it is strange
But is it that hard to believe that a fish wants to live too?
Is it that funny how it's taken out of its natural habitat
For you ridicule, or eat?
Is it that funny that the little poor fish is struggling to breath
Because you took air away from it
It might be normal to eat
It is not illegal to kill a fish
But if you are going to kill the fish
Burry it with its pride.
