The early morning sun came
But it later stopped being morning so it left.
The moon also came to visit
And I was so terrified
It was so dark and gloomy,
But I wasn't going to leave
The rain came, and brought thunderstorms also
I got wet, but it is not that big of a deal.
The leaves fell on the ground, I was covered in leaves,
But I didn't mind, it kept me warm.
But then the wind came and blew all my leaves away
But I still waited.
And then the snow came
It was beautiful but it was painful
As the white elegant cloud land on my body, it turned to ice
I was cold,
I was freezing
But I refused to leave,
Because I was waiting on you.
I thought you wouldn't let me freeze to death
I kept telling myself, you are on your way
"You probably stopped by to get me a blanket
You won't just leave me here!
You probably went to get some coffee
You can't let me freeze!
You probably went to get me a sweater, or a jacket.
But you did leave me there"
Oh wait.
I refuse to let myself think you abandoned me
You were probably home,
Just warming up your body
To warm me up.
Right?
you wouldn't leave me right?
Please come up with some excuse to keep me from believing that you actually left me there.
Because you love me right?
