Always remember that the good things don't come easily
Always keep in mind that the things that you want you have to fight for it.
Always have it in your heart
A space to love
Always have that tiny space to trust
Always have the look in your eyes
The look of happiness
Because apparently,
The things that you want are the only things that are hard to get.
Because you have to fight for the life that you already have
Just because some people don't think you deserve it.
You have to have the space for love in your heart
Even though your heart is already broken
Even though you only have a little piece of your heart left
You still try to use it for love
And even though you give the world love
You are only gonna get hate in return.
You have to have the space to trust
The world already broke your trust a thousand times
But you still have to believe that there is good left in people
You still have to look happy
Because if they ask, you don't have a reason to be sad
And if you trust them enough to tell them
They don't have a solution for you.
And even when they bother to listen
It is just for a little while
Because when they figure out
That you are broken
They won't fight for you because you are not worthy
They would easily give up on you
Because you are not good enough to be worked so hard on
Their heart will be too dark for you to fit in
So they don't have any type of love for you
They don't believe you could ever have any value
They have no trust for you
But you still have to keep smiling
Even though they haven't given any reason to be happy
But what they don't know is that
You are breaking a broken person more
When you give up on them
So why can't the world just leave me alone
They are asking for too much from me
It is already hard to fake a smile when you are broken
It is harder to love when you are heartbroken
And it is just easier to leave your words unspoken
Because when you do choose to talk, nobody ever listen.
But just keep doing what the world wants you to do
Today might be bad
But you will make tomorrow a better day
When you actually find the reason to have a real smile.
