Rebekah and Haley and I had gone to the bayou to try and find anything to do with her family.

We were in the living room while Rebekah poured drinks.

"What's with you and all those werewolf beings anyways." Rebekah asked her.

I sat on the couch and watches the two.

"Just trying to find any real connection do my family. Ever since I could remember I've been all alone." She said. I scoffed playfully and walked over beside them.

"How dare you. Rebekah and I don't ruin a perfectly good pair of shoes for just anyone." I scold. She laughs and look down at the ground.

We heard the door open and I smiled when I saw Klaus. But, he didn't seem to happy.

"Nik, finally. What are you-" she stopped when a familiar face walked in.

"Elijah." She breathes out happily. She runs to him and embraces him in a hug. I could see Klaus's sadness.

I walk over to him and grab his face in my hands. Klaus smiles in appreciation.

"Are you okay?" I ask. He nods and we embrace each other in a hug. When we pulled away Elijah looked at me with a wide smile as well.

"How's my little girl?" He laughs. I chuckle and rush to hug him. Than he pulled back a checked my stomach.

"She's fine, Elijah." I said. His face widened in realization of what I just said. I nodded and he hugged me again.

"A girl! That's magnificent news." He cheers. I smile and pull away watching Haley walk out. I turn to Elijah who's already looking at her.

"Go talk to her. Introduce yourself." I said. He rolled his eyes playfully and nodded before walking after her.

After their talk, Elijah called us all in to the office. Haley leaned up against the wall while I had my hands on Klaus's shoulder, who was sitting in a chair next to Rebekah.

Elijah was in front of us.

"Everything that brought us here to New Orleans...was a lie. This story that Sophie Deveraux fabricated, this struggle for control of the French quarter, this war between vampire and witches, wasn't over territory at all. This was over the little witch." He said.

I tilted my head in confusion.

Who?

"8 months ago, Sophie Deveraux and her sister, Jane-Anne, lost everything. Now, 4 months after that a young, pregnant girl wanders in to their restaurant."

I gulp and place a hand over my bump. Klaus brought his hand back to my hand on his shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

"Suddenly, all hope is renewed." He added. Jane-Anne actually sacrificed her life so that her sister could use you to find her. If Sophie Deveraux is successful in capturing the witch, She can return to Jane-Anne's daughter back to life. We thought we came here to wage a war of power. This is about family."

"In order to bring her niece back to life, she will fight to the death. Which makes her the most dangerous person here."

Klaus walked over and led me upstairs. Only when we laid on the bed and closed the door did he start to be all 'Daddy Like'.

He laid his head on my stomach and started talking to the baby.

"Has Daddy's little girl been good to mommy?" He asked. I tilted my head in confusion from his new side.

He must have noticed because he coughed awkwardly and turned off the lights before climbing in bed.

I had my back to him but he was cuddling me from behind. I listened to his breathing even out, so I knew he was asleep.

I slowly crept a hand on my stomach and began talking to her.

"I can't wait to meet you babygirl. You're never gonna be alone like we were." I whispered.
