i really want to be able to kiss him again
every time i see him, i just have the urge to do the cliche boyfriend shit by picking him up and kissing him as i spin him around

hyunjin:
how long has it been?

minho:
three years.
we started to date when we were twelve
but broke up when we were fourteen
because we felt maybe it was too much to do at such a young age, and that we were too young to be feeling such emotions

hyunjin:
you know, love has no age
like, if you fall in love at twelve
then you fall in love at twelve
it's not like, "oh you have to be twenty to fall in love"

minho:
i know. i wish i was able to tell our younger selves that, because now it's just eating me alive.
i know we were young, but the feeling was so fucking strong. it's not like we ever did shit too out of our league anyways. we barely kissed often, i mean we were more focused on handholding and hugging.
even though it's been three years, i still feel the same way.

hyunjin:
what about the promise you guys made?
promising each other to tell the other that in the future, later in high school, that if you still feel something, to tell the other?
and also promising to each other, "i'll always wait for you and love you more than anyone else will."

minho:
i know
i want to bring up that promise
and tell him i've kept it, and tell him i love him
but i get so fucking scared whenever he asks
i feel myself tighten up and get anxious that he might not feel the same

hyunjin:
he got upset with you earlier because you told him to forget what you said— considering he thought you just confessed to him and saying, "forget what i said." removed the hope he had of you loving him

minho:
he hasn't talked to me since
i think he's really upset about it

hyunjin:
