"Describe the appearance of that person." Xue said, still regarding Sid with askance.

"No problem," Sid nodded with a grin. "You just gotta promise to absorb me after this."

"That's what I'm planning to do."

All of them could tell that Sid was pleased at Xue's words.

"He is definitely older than me, has black short hair. He seems like the average man you see around," Sid stated, drinking down the tea. "Ah, but there was something distinct about him, he had this...mark on his forehead, like a symbol of some sort."

Xue furrowed his eyebrows, remaining quiet.

Cecil reached out to pour more tea for everyone, realising there wasn't enough. Sid gave her a sheepish glance, rubbing his neck.

"Sorry, I would like more tea."

"I'll go get more." Cecil smiled, and the smile dazzled Sid.

The smile on her face then froze, and she turned away. It was an unconscious habit of hers to treat every soul fragment of Xue, including Xue himself, in this friendly manner.

Cecil walked away, and Xue realised Sid's peach eyes following after her. His frown deepened as he stretched his hand out, snapping his fingers in front of Sid.

"Oi, we aren't done talking, look over here."

"O-oh."

Hana noticed their exchange, especially Xue's obvious dislike for Sid eyeing Cecil. She smiled, shaking her head.

"Hana, do you have a pen and paper around here?"

Hana nodded. "They have a library here, it's just down the corridor to the left, the second room. I'll go get it for you!"

"No need, I can get it myself," Xue stated, narrowing his eyes at Sid. "Keep an eye on him, make sure he doesn't wander off."

"Mhmm!"

Xue left the living room quietly, leaving the two of them behind.

"Hey, Hana." Sid scuttled closer to Hana, lowering his voice.

"Mmm?"

"Just now, that lady with the black hair, she's called...Cecil?"

"Cecil Lan!" Hana beamed. "My best friend since childhood!"

"She's so pretty..." Sid sighed, recalling the moment when he bumped into her, and seeing her for the first time. "Like an angel."

Hana giggled.

"Wh-why are you laughing? Did I say something wrong?"

"No, Cecil is really pretty!" Hana nodded her hair, smiling innocently. "All of you just seem to fall for Cecil no matter what, even Xue."

Sid grinned sheepishly.

“Even though I trespassed the place, she still brought me here to eat and drink the tea she brewed herself, and even this couch for me to seat on,” Sid seemed emotional, nodding to himself. “She is an actual angel in disguise, the actual angel of luck. She changed my life!”

Hana giggled again. “Mhmm!”

The two continued to chat about Cecil, especially Hana who kept gushing about her best friend.

Cecil was on her way to the living room, holding the teapot carefully and she glanced up when she heard a familiar beeping noise from the system.
