... "No. All good." ...
Inside he glanced at you for a last time.
"Night."These small words caused your heart to flutter pleasantly, whereafter you gave him a small smile back.

Rushing down the stairs on your way to the horse stables, you passed the canteen and fetched a loaf of bread, which you put in your mouth while still threw on your jacket. You greeted your friends with a wave as well, before going out and suddenly noticing Levi being by the horses
You weren't surprised, but it wasn't your intention to meet him there, or at least you didn't mean to.
Maybe you just hoped he would be there. While you stood at the entrance, his face turned to you and it instantly heated for some reason. Naturally you tried to brush it off and casually walk over to him.
"Hey.", you said taking the bread into your hand and taking a quick bite.Levi continued doing what he did and ignored you.
A hot, weird feeling consumed your body, as if your head wasn't red enough already. What was happening with you?
Did I actually... ? No- Not Levi... Not that idiot...With a comb in your hand, you went to the white mare assorted to you and gently begun stroking her mane.
As the horse calmed, so did you with her. While smoothing the fur, you thought of your later plans when you'd visit you mom to gift her with some company and bring a few groceries over, so that she needn't to work too hard all alone.
A smile appeared on your face, when feeling how clean the mare had become. Not much later, you were pleased and begun saddling her instead.Levi gave you a sceptical glance, but remained silent, continuing to feed his stallion with carrots.
Thereupon you went in and met Erwin on the way.
"Good Morning, recruit (Y/L).", he greeted you in a friendly manner, a soft smile lingering on his facials. You made a short bow.
"Good morning, general.""Congratulations on your ranking. I heard you would've gotten the first place, if it wasn't for your mistake on the first test.", he said.
"Thank you.", you brought out in mild glee.
"Who told you about that?""It was Keith Shadis.", Erwin said.
"But mostly Levi himself, who dealt with your training."You couldn't help but blush at those words.
He was talking about you with Erwin?"It's because since he trains you, he's sort of your mentor and that's why he has to tell me what's going on.", Erwin added after seeing how overwhelmed you were.
You calmed down. Erwin was right. Levi only spoke about you, because he was responsible for you. Why else would he waste thoughts?
"You know, he says, that you're pretty good and I think so too. That's why I assigned you to him." , the blonde spoke warmly, a certain motivation in his voice that he tried to emit.
"Levi thinks you have a good leader-instinct. So we have high hopes for you, recruit (Y/L)."
Before he went away, he added:
"I wish you a nice break-day."
