... Maybe that's how it was meant to be ...

Friday, early morning:
"WO WO WOHOOOOOO!", Hange screamed out of the small window of your carriage.

"Shut up.", Levi said in annoyance, while her fascinated expression observed the people and crowd around more gathered mass of humans.

"So many...", you whispered, also looking out.
Hange and you were sitting next to two small windows, while Levi leaned against another, opposite of both of you.

"Look, real carriages!", she grasped for air.

"We're sitting in one, idiot.", Levi gave out.

You wondering:
"Look at all these stores. How are they even having enough income after all the competition on the streets?"

Hange clapped your back hardly.
"Ahahaha, (Y/N), always so curios. Well, all the sellers depend on the people and many actually close almost everyday, making other sellers take their place. The ones who loose their store, loose everything."

You nodded seriously.

"We're there!", Hange suddenly announced, calling you back to earth.

Hange jumped on the streets confidently, putting both her hands onto her waist.
She took in the air and said:
"Ooh, yes, contaminated air..."
When you went outside, Levi held the door open for you.

"Thanks.", you smiled slightly and got next to Hange. Levi stood behind both of you.

"Do you know where the shop is, Hange?", you asked her and she grinned.

She put a finger on her glasses.
"Of course."

-

An hour later, you were still walking around the crowded streets.

You frowned.
"Hange, where are we?"

Hange nervously:
"I know where we are, just a little further..."

"That's what you said half an hour ago.", you put out in tiredness.

"Tch. Give me the card.", Levi strut forward.

"Okay.", Hange pouted.

After five minutes under Levi's guide, you finally arrived. You looked impressed at him, as he stoically leaned against the wall.
When all of you entered, you saw a dark room with clothes and dresses, but the moment your eyes got used to the lighting, it was beautiful.

Most of the shop was made out of dark wood, having an old, vintage look. The light-sources emitted a dark, tired, yellow to orange shade, expanding on the high ceiling and next to the drawers in the store.
There was nobody in the shop, except you, until a voice sounded.

"How can I help you?", the saleswoman greeted you friendly from behind the counter.

"(Y/N), tell her what you need and... I'll go now.", Hange nudged your side with her elbow.

You looked at her in disbelief.
"Huh?"

"I'll go buy some own things and I'll catch both of you later here at this shop.", step by step she distanced.

Levi glared at Hange.
"Are you serious?"

She smirked cheekily in response, while going out the door.
"Yes, have fun. Heheheh."
