65. Mood swings

...„Food!"...

You stormed into the bathroom and slammed the door close with your back.

Your head lowered for a little break, as you tried easing your breath.

In your thoughts:
What is going on with me?
Why am I acting this weird?

You moved to the front of one mirror above the sink and washed your face with cold water.

I'm behaving so stupid, oh god, what is this childish behaviour?, you thought, while the fluid ran down your face smoothly.
Have I lost my mind?
What must Levi think now? And especially, after I evaded him on every possible corner?

You sighed.
Maybe he didn't even notice.

20 minutes later, after you were sure they were done with supper, you sluggishly went out the restroom.
Just as you stepped out the door, you saw a figure next to it.

"AHH!", you flinched with a scream.

Levi emotionlessly looked at you with crossed arms, while leaning against the wall.

You, shocked:
"What are you doing here?! Are you out of your mind?? You scared the crap out of me!"

He raised an eyebrow.

You, putting a hand to your stressed out heart:
"God, Levi..."

Levi untouched:
"You needed pretty long to come out for a hand-wash."

You stared at him confused:
"Huh?"
Then you asked, after realising:
"Hey?! Were you watching me?"

Levi coldly:
"No."

You, mistrustfully:
"What are you doing here then?"

He looked seriously into your eyes.
"..."

Your body started tingling.
"W-what?"

He still stared at your face with narrowed eyes.
"..."

You nervously:
"Levi, stop, what is this supposed to mean-?"

"Are you avoiding me?", he bluntly asked.

You froze, before quickly letting out an awkward laugh.
"Whaaat? Noooo."

Levi:
"Lie."

"What?"

Him blankly:
"Liar."

You glared at him.
"I'm supposed to be a liar? Are you aware that-?"

He just went to go while you were talking.

"Hey, wait!", you called after him angrily.
"I'm not ready!"

"Tch."

You annoyed:
"Really? Are you insulted now?"

Levi:
"..."

You furrowed your brows.
"Are you serious?"

Levi:
"..."

You, while quickly following:
"I-I wasn't even avoiding you, I just needed to go somewhere else..."

Levi raised an eyebrow unimpressed.
"Where?"

You stuttered.
"Just... bathroom..."

Levi let out a 'Tch' in annoyance and continued walking.

You spoke slowly:
"Okay, look, I only did it on a couple of occasions..."

Levi:
"..."

You sighed and rolled your eyes.
"Fine, maybe more than a couple of occasions, but it's not because of you-"
