..."There's nothing to tell."...

When all of you went in, mostly Hange prattled around with her cheeks red from all the jabbering.
Sasha had an intense talk with her about the necessity of bread while eating soup, but everyone still dismissed her as potato-girl.

Sasha offended:
"I like bread way more than potatoes, so why do you call me potato-girl??", she asked sulkily with her hands on her hips.

"Because you just look like one.", Conny chuckled.

"HAAAH? How is someone supposed to look like a potato or an object?? That's not possible, except you're horse-face!", she rattled on.

Everyone muted at once and their looks turned to you, who had been silent over the entire time.

"WHAAT? It's true-", before Sasha could continue, Hange quickly put her hand onto her mouth.
Sasha's eyes then widened all of the sudden, when realising.

"Hwwffh.", she uttered.

Your look pointed down and then lifted to them.

"Heey, let's eat something while we're at it, shouldn't we, huh?", Hange laughed it off as distraction, putting her arm over your shoulders.

Reality seemed to float on a crusty leaf.
You simply went alongside with them to the canteen.

-

On your seat, you just blankly stared at the food in front of you.

Eren glanced worriedly at you from the side a couple of times, without saying anything.

Conny joyfully:
"So, how are we gonna celebrate that?"

Ymir, leaning back and stretching a little:
"What about some alcohol?"

Mikasa, looking at Eren:
"What do you say Eren?"

He furrowed his brows at her in anger.

Ymir scoffing:
"Hah, what'ya think (Y/N)? Nice idea, huh? A little of the good stuff again?
Though this time, you and Eren have to share some with me."

Eren frowned and looked back at your expressionless face.

From the side, you heard a sweet, high-pitched voice, belonging to Petra.
Levi and Erwin had arrived at the tables again and you perceived Petra's loud laugh.

Her look suddenly moved over to you and she stood up to greet you friendly.
"Hey (Y/N). It's nice to have you back, we really missed you."
She smiled sycophantically.

No reaction came from you.
"Well, anyway, I'm really glad you're okay.", an awkward chuckle slipped through her lips.

You clenched your fist under the table, staring straight forward with your heart hammering loudly in the beat of your pulse.

Petra turned to return and position on the spot she had previously sat on. You sensed her glancing over to you and whispering something to the people at her table, which seemed to fuel the fire in you.
Blood rushed through your veins, making a seemingly vociferous, rusting noise boom through your head and ears.

Hange raised an eyebrow worriedly from Petra's table, the sides of her mouth twitching.
The clangs around you started muting, until all the sudden, a hand touched your shoulder, making the numbness vanish.

"Come."
Clean sound.
Levi.
He looked at you in the same monotone way he always did.

You only stood up in response and walked behind, while the others watched you and wondered, what this possibly could mean.
