Team 7 reunited

Saturday, 14th of October.

"You can't see him."

"Why?"

"Because..." the guard turned around and looked at his friend. His friend replied.

"Sasuke is working for the Hokage. He is in his own special rank. We can tell him."

"Tell me what?"

"The man you want to see escaped."

"He what?" Sasuke could feel the rage creeping through his body, travelling through his veins. "How did it happen?"

"Two of our men were on duty last night. Both of them disappeared and so did the prisoner named Kotaka."

"They're here. They are in the village." Sasuke had a bad feeling about this and he suddenly thought of Sakura. Where was she now? "You, go report to the Hokage now. It is an emergency and tell him that I will be there right away. Do not tell anyone else about what happened, the enemy is in the village."

"The enemy?"

"Just go!" Sasuke ran out of the building towards his wife's apartment. She had decided to go back there to put the furniture and everything back into place. As he ran, he looked around him and realised that villagers were as peaceful as usual. None of them realised that they were under attack.

He arrived and barged into the place. "Sakura!" his voice echoed on the walls. No one answered. He could feel his rage turn into nervousness. His mind raced to find where else she could be. He decided to run to Ino's shop. While running he tried to keep it together, there was no signs of her being taken, nothing showed that she was in danger. He needed to keep his head cold if he wanted to protect her.

He saw the shop and ran into it. Ino rose her head and frowned her eyebrows. "Sasuke? What are you doing here?"

"Did you see her?"

"See who?"

"Sakura. Where is she?"

"She was here thirty minutes ago. She told me that she was going to see Yukata. Is something wrong?"

He ignored her question and rushed to the hospital. Something in his mind just clicked. Yukata had never been the target, Sakura was. Sakura was their way to get through to him. She was his weakness and they were aware of it but how? Kotaka knew about Sasuke's connection to her but he had been locked up so how did he manage to transfer the information to Lb? Were they in the village already?

He ran past the door and into the hallways. He was suspicious of every single person he passed by. He swung the door open and scanned the room. She was sitting on a chair with a scared look on her face. He took a deep breath. Was it really her?

"Sasuke, is this really-"

"What did I say to you the night of Naruto's birthday, before we fell asleep?"

"What?"

"Say it. What did I say to you. If you're really Sakura you know what I am referring to."

"Of course it's me. What is going on with you?"

"Say it."

"Sasuke, what is going on?"

"Who are you? Where is Sakura?"

Yukata looked at him. "What do you mean not Sakura?"
