Hope's POV:

When I regain consciousness I am no longer by the black lake, I am in the Hospital Wing, laying in a bed. I sit up and look around me. Hermione and Ron are both awake. Ron is in his own bed while Hermione is sitting beside Harry who is to my left.

I quickly get up, ignoring the dizzy feeling I have, and go over to him. "Is he ok?" I ask. "Yeah, he should be awake any minute." She says, but she's no longer looking at him, she's staring at me. "Why didn't you tell us?" She asks.

"I-I didn't want you to be scared of me. I didn't want to lose you all. I also wanted to protect myself. If someone found out about me being sine witch, let alone a sine witch and a werewolf then I don't know what they would do to me. I'm sorry." I say.

"That's not just it, you're not a normal werewolf. What are you?" She asks. I go to answer when Harry's eyes open. "I saw my dad." Is the first thing out of his mouth. "What?" Hermione asks. "He sent the dementors away. I saw him across the lake."

"Listen Harry, they've captured Sirius, any minute now the dementors are going to preform the kiss." She says. My eyes widen. "What? No, he's innocent." I say. "They're going to kill him?" Harry asks, sitting up and putting on his glasses.

"No, it's worse, much worse, they're going to suck out his soul." She says. My heart drops. Suddenly the doors open and Dumbledore walks in. "Headmaster you've got to stop them, they've got the wrong man." Hermione says as the three of us walk up to him. "It's true sir." I say.

"Sirius is innocent." Harry adds. "It's Scabbers who did it." Ron says, sitting up. "Scabbers?" Dumbledore asks. "My rat, well, I mean, he was a rat, but then he wasn't an-" "Point is, we know the truth." Hermione says, turning to him. "Please believe us." I beg.

"I do Miss Mikaelson, but I'm sorry to say the word of four 13 year old wizards will convince few others." He says. He then walks over to Ron. "A child's voice however honest and true, is meaningless to those who have forgotten how to listen." He says, patting Ron's injured leg.

He suddenly gets a glassy look in his eyes. "Mysterious thing, time. Powerful, and when meddled with, dangerous. Sirius Black is in the top most cellar of the Dark Tower." He tells us, whipping around. Why is he telling us this?

"You know the laws Miss Granger, you must not be seen. You would do well, I feel, to return before this last chime, if not, the consequences are too ghastly to discuss. If you succeed tonight, more than one innocent life could be spared. Three turns should do it I think." He says.

He then leaves the Hospital Wing, he stops though, before the door closes. "Oh, one more thing. When in doubt, I find retracing my steps to be a wise place to start." Then he's gone. "Hermione what does he mean?" I ask. She then turns to Ron, ignoring me.

"Sorry Ron, but seeing as you can't walk..." She trails off, pulling out a small hourglass necklace. She wraps it around all three of our necks. Harry goes to touch it, but she smacks his hand away. She twists it three times before it starts spinning on its own.

Suddenly everything around us seems like a film in rewind. People are rushing past us quickly. When it all stops we're alone again. I look around and it's light outside. "What just happened?" Harry asks. "Where's Ron?" I ask. Hermione tucks the necklace back into her shirt.

She doesn't answer us. "It's seven thirty, where were we at seven thirty?" She asks. "Going to down to Hagrid's." I say. "Come on, and we can't be seen." She says. We take off running. "Hermione!" Harry calls, but she doesn't slow down. We continue running.

"Hermione! Hermione wait!" I call. Still nothing. Soon we're running through the bridge towards the stone pillars where Hermione and I punched Malfoy and Crabb. "Hermione would you please tell us what it is we're doing?" Harry asks.

But he doesn't talk further as we reach the end of the bridge and see us. "That's us." Harry says. "This is not normal." Harry says. Hermione then grabs us and pulls us further onto the bridge before taking out her necklace.

"This is a time turner. McGonagall gave it to me first term. This is how I've been getting to my lessons all year." She says. Then it clicks. "That's why it's like you appear out of no where." I say. She nods. "You mean we've gone back in time?" Harry asks.

"Yes, Dumbledore obviously wanted us to return to this moment. Clearly something happened that he wants us to change. She says. We go back to watching the scene play out in front of us. I smirk as I watch Hermione and I punch Malfoy and Crabb. "Nice punches." He says.

"Thanks." We both say. Suddenly the two boys are coming towards us. "Hide." Hermione says, pulling us off the bridge so that they won't see us. Once they're gone and our past selves are gone the three of us make out way towards Hagrid's.

We go and hide behind the pumpkins we hid behind to hide from Fudge. We look over to see Fudge, the executioner, and Dumbledore headed this way. "Here they come, we better hurry. Harry says, grabbing onto arms. I pull him back.

"Fudge has to see Buckbeak before we steal him or else he'll think Hagrid set him free." I remind him. We watch through the window and see Ron grab Scabbers from Hagrid. "That's Pettigrew." Harry says, going to stand up. "Harry you can't." Hermione says.

"Hermione, that's the man who betrayed my parents, you don't expect me to just sit here." He says. "You must. Harry, you're in Hagrid's hut now. If you just go bursting in, you'll think you've gone mad. Awful things happen to wizards who meddle with time Harry. We can't be seen."

We go back to watching the scene unfold. "Fudge is coming." I say. "We aren't leaving, why aren't we leaving?" Hermione asks. She then picks something up and hurls it through the window, destroying the vase inside.

My eyes widen when I realize who really gave me the headache in the hut. "Dang it." I say. I look intensely at the back of my head. Suddenly past me is doubling over in pain. I drop it. "Why would yo duo that to yourself?" Harry asks. "It worked didn't it." I say. He just shrugs.

Our past selves start coming towards us. "Come on, we're coming out the back door." Hermione says. The three of us race into the tree, each hiding behind one. "Is that really what my hair looks like from the back?" Hermione asks. "Hermione." Harry whispers as she snaps a twig.

We each hide again. They look back at us, but don't see anything so they run off. Once they're gone we go towards Buckbeak. I walk up to the Hippogriff, bowing before walking the rest of the way. I slowly coax him to his feet and then Hermione tries to lead him using dead ferrets.

Before we can get out of sight though the door the Hagrid's hut opens, but no one sees us because Dumbledore is pointing out something to them. Slowly and quickly we coax Buckbeak into the forest with us. When they turn around he's gone.

The executioner gets angry and raises his axe and demolishes a pumpkin. We rush to lead Buckbeak through the forest and away from where ever Fudge might look.  Once we're far enough in Harry drops Buckbeaks's chain. "Now what?" He asks.

"We save Sirius." She says, running off. "How?" Harry asks as we follow her. "No idea." She says. We finally reach a place where we can see Lupin and Snape enter the willow. "Now what?" Harry asks. "Now we wait." She says. We all sit down and I look at them.

"I think it's time to tell you who I am."
