Hope's POV:

The next day, right after lunch, Harry and I go looking for Cedric to tell him about the dragons. As we walk down the hallways I notice everyone has a badge on. I glare at anyone who looks like they're about to make a snide comment. No one says anything, but many attempt to.

I'm intimidating when I want to be. We go to walk through an archway when we're stopped by two Hufflepuff. Honestly. They're supposed to be the kind house. "Like the badge?" One guys asks. I step forwards.

"Yeah it's great, it'll look better when I shove it up your ass. Now move." I snarl. Their eyes widen and they step aside, allowing us through. We walk up to Cedric and his friends. "Hey, read the badge Potter."

I go to say something when Cedric stands and glares at them, sending me an apologetic look, calming me down slightly. "Can I have a word?" Harry asks him. He nods and the three of us walk to the side. "Dragons. That's the first task." Harry blurts.

"They've got one for each of you." I explain. "Are you serious?" He asks. We both nod. "And Fleur and Krum, do they-" "Yes." "Right then." Harry goes to leave and I go to follow when Cedric grabs my arm. I stop and so does Harry.

"Hey, listen. About the badges. I've asked them not to wear them, but-" "Don't worry about it." Harry tells him, grabbing my free hand and pulling me away from the older boy. I send him a thankful smile and he grins back, walking back towards his friends.

"Why so tense Potter?" I groan when I hear Malfoy call out to Harry. We have to walk past the tree he's in. "My father and I have a bet, you see. I say you won't last ten minutes in the tournament. He disagrees. He says you won't last five."

That's it, I yank my hand out of Harry's and march up to the boy. His eyes widen. I hope he's remember when Hermione and I punches him and his friend last year. I'm about two seconds away from decking him with full werewolf strength.

"You know what Malfoy, if you could last even a second in the tournament I would be surprised. I mean, your father wouldn't be there for you to hide behind. Then again, even he wouldn't last a minute. Now, shut the hell up and go back to hiding behind you stupid little body guards."

Their eyes widen when I mention them. "Speak to Harry about this again and I hex you so badly you'll be in the hospital wing for weeks." I snarl. He glares fiercely at me. He's down from the tree and we're nose to nose now. "Want to repeat that Mikaelson?" He asks.

"I would, but I don't think your pathetic little brain could comprehend it a second time. Apparently it didn't comprehend it the first time." With that I turn on my heel and march towards Harry. "Pathetic?" He grumbles.

I hear him rustling with his cloak and I know he's reaching for his wand. I whip mine out and face him only to be beaten by Moody casting a golden stream of magic towards him. Malfoy shrinks down and when the light fades my eyes widen when I see a ferret in his place.

Moody lifts him from the ground. "I'll teach you to curse someone when their back is turned. Especially a lady." He growls, getting closer. He starts bouncing Malfoy up and down. "You stinking, cowardly, scummy-" "Professor Moody!" "-back-shooting..."

"What are you doing?" McGonagall asks him. "Teaching." "Is that a student?" She asks, appalled. "Technically it's a ferret." He shoves Malfoy down Crabb's pants and I bust out laughing. I hear a deep laugh next to me. I turn to see Cedric on the other side on me than Harry is.

He looks down at me. "You alright?" "Oh, I'm fine, Malfoy's an ass, but a manageable one. He's too scared of me to do anything serious." "Well, you are pretty terrifying." I grin at him. "Why thank you, I try to be." He just laughs and we continue to watch the spectacle.

Finally Malfoy is out of Crabb's pants and on solid ground. McGonagall transfigures him back to his human state, sadly I must say. He turns to Moody. "My father will hear about this!" "Is that a threat?!" Eyes widen Malfoy and his friends take off. "Professor Moody!"

"Is that a threat?" "Professor." "I could tell you stories about your father that would curl even your greasy hair boy!" "Alister." He finally stops chasing the boy. "Alister. We never use Transfiguration as punishment. Surly Dumbledore told you that."

"He might have mentioned it." "Well, you will do well to remember it." With that she storms away. Moody walks in the opposite direction. "You, come with me." He tells Harry. The two of us go to follow him. "Not you Mikaelons." I glare. "I'm not just gonna-" "Oh yes you will." He growls.

With that he starts walking again, Harry following after him, sending me an apologetic look. "I'll be fine. I'll see you in the Common Room later tonight." He tells me, trying to reassure me. I sigh, but nod and with that he's gone. I turn to Cedric.

"I've gonna head to the Common Room, but I'll see you later." I go to walk past him when his hand stops me. "Hey Hope, uh, I just wanted to say thank you. I'm pretty sure you're the one who convinced Harry to tell me about the dragons." I smile softly.

"Harry's a good guy. He was going to tell you anyways, I just vocalized it." He nods. "Well, thanks anyways." "Of course. I'll see you later Ced." "Ced?" "What? Is that not ok?" "No, no, it's fine. I'll see you around love." I blush as I walk away from the boy.

He's making it really difficult for me to only like one guy. Ugh, stupid feelings.
