The part that Changkyun was stuck on with his song was actually way farther along than Namjoon would have thought, and really he didn't need much help other than a little bit of guiding and just being told that what he had was good, that it was something that the rest of Monsta X was gonna like.

Changkyun had already shown so much growth as a writer and producer from the time Namjoon had first gotten to know him through Jooheon. It was also almost magically seeing him completely relaxing and happily sitting on Namjoon's lap, he didn't even weigh that much, while yes he was a little wider built than Namjoon, he was also a lot shorter, and all Namjoon could do was wrap the smaller up in his arms and hold him close while they worked.

It was a nice calming beta scent that Namjoon without a doubt could get used to, beta's already had such nice scents. When they finished up the work for the day, and Changkyun had placed the program, they both sad for a few minutes just looking at the background on his laptop, just enjoying the closeness of each other.

The picture was a fairly new one, couldn't be less than a weak together. It was all of Monsta x plus Namjoon, half of them was sleeping on the couch with everybody else cuddled up to them, Changkyun was missing since he had taken the picture. Namjoon felt a happy soft feeling in his lower stomach as the thought that Changkyun had actually put effort into getting a picture with him in it, "it's cute." he did a head toss towards the screen.

Changkyun shrugged "I wanted something that symbolised all of us, while you might not currently be part of our pack at the moment, it felt wrong to court you and not include you in things like this." he snuggled back into Namjoon "I was the last person to join the pack, I did it a lot later than the rest. I understand how it feels getting courted by a pack that already has a habit, already has a history. The small things matter, feeling that you belong there, that you can be part of them, it matters. While yes I hope you join us, I think you would be a great fit for us, I also just want you to be happy if that is with us... that is great."

Seeing Monsta x now, it was so easy to forget that Changkyun hadn't joined them at; first, he remembered from Jackson that Monsta x had been worried that he wouldn't join them at all. That their first treatment of the younger had ruined it forever for them, Namjoon could also remember Kihyun's words about Changkyun, his worry about the youngest.

"You know they love you, right? A lot." he kept his voice soft while hugging the sweet beta close.

For a few seconds, all Changkyun did was awkwardly trying to turn around in the chair so he ended up sitting facing Namjoon, while still on the older man's lap "you talked with Kihyun didn't you? He worries too much." the smile on the young rapper's face was sweet "I know they love me, on bad days... it's hard to believe, but I know they love me. I try not to let it get to me. I can't keep holding onto the past, what happened during No.mercy was not cause they had something against me, but cause they felt powerless after having lost their friends." he just shrugged "the past is the past for me, they never meant to hurt me. Sometimes... we just don't realise what we do to people when we are distraught."

Changkyun was lost in telling his own little story, remembering the past and what got him there, he didn't think for a second that his words could apply to Namjoon and Yoongi, he would never have said anything like that to Namjoon, but sometimes... words you tried to say didn't come out the way you wanted, or they had different meanings for other people. That was the case for Changkyun without him knowing it.

"You are right, sometimes... it's best to forget and forgive people, do stupid things at times." just like Yoongi did, Yoongi didn't mean his words.

Changkyun didn't realise what he had just put in Namjoon's head, he had been more concerned that Namjoon thought that something was wrong with their pack and that would be a reason for him to not wanna join them.
