Luigi and Mario step out of the room to see that everyone was up against the door trying to listen in.
Mario: Eek! How long have you guys been standing there?
Saiko: Enough to hear most of your conversation.
Mario: That's... not cool...
Tari: Hey, not all of us heard the whole thing, it was mostly Saiko and SMG4.
SMG4: (smiling mischievously)
Saiko: Anyways... we made sure to exclude Meggy from the listening in so it'll be a surprise to her, Mario.
Mario: Why would you do that for me, Saiko?
Saiko: That's because you're one of my F-F-F-F-F...
Mario: Are you having a stroke again?
Saiko: F-F-F-Friends...
Tari: Aww, Saiko does have other friends.
Saiko: hmph. Whatever.
Luigi: So, Mario. Are you ready for this?
Mario: (not at all ready) Ready as I'll ever be.
Mario and Luigi walk across the foyer of the castle, approaching Meggy. Once Mario sees her, he starts to tense up.
Luigi: Loosen up, Mario. You got this.
Mario: I am loose, see?
Mario forces a seemingly pained smile to Luigi.
Luigi tells him that it does not help him by being too dramatic.
Mario: Me? Too dramatic? Ha! That's Glitchy.
SMG4: (depressed mode activated)
Luigi: You're being more dramatic than anyone else right now.
Mario: (shakes a little, feeling more loose) How about now, Luigi?
Luigi: eh, it'll do.
Just as Mario and Luigi reaches Meggy, Peach came bursting through the doors screaming:
Peach: Mario, I need your help! My fathers been kidnapped by Bowser this time!
Mario: (annoyed) Go save him yourself.
Peach: (pulls out a gun with a plate of spaghetti) Or this plate of buttery spaghetti gets it.
Mario: (frightened) Come on, Peach. L-Let's talk about this.
Peach: Oh yeah? Like the time you said let's talk about the wedding that I had to cancel because of you?!
Mario: (blushing because of Meggy hearing this from Peach) We..never had a wedding, Peach.
Peach: Are you sure about that? Because Toadsworth has a scrapbook with wedding photos and everything in it!
Mario: Why would he have wedding photos when there wasn't a wedding?
Peach: (pauses to think) uh..uh... Ugh. Whatever. You should be out there saving my family instead of humping spaghetti.
