☁︎︎ Third POV
Y/n and Tanjiro both arrived to the small village that supposedly had a demon. Both were wearing the Demon Slayer uniform with their own Haori.
Tanjiro was given a well made box to keep Nezuko in. He was thankful to Urokodaki for the helpful box. It was much more comfortable than the large basket he used to carry.
Urokodaki also gave Y/n and Tanjiro a small wooden fox pin. Both of them different from the other. The two males were very grateful for the gift. Tanjiro made sure to keep it on him and that it's safe.
"Do you think that there really is a demon here?" Tanjiro asked as he looked around the place, not smelling any scent of demons.
Y/n nodded, "There's feint aura of red. I think we just need to wait for night fall for the demon to strike," he said blankly.
A young male, about Y/n's and Tanjiro's age, bumped into Y/n's shoulder. The male looked beaten and tired, and probably haven't eaten correctly the past week or two.
"G-Gomen," The male said barely even a whisper.
Y/n only bowed his head slightly, "Gomen..." he trialed off.
Tanjiro and Y/n only watched at the male trudged away with his head down. Both males were worried about him, though, Tanjiro showed it.
"Kazumi-san looks devastated," a villager said, "He was right beside Satoko when she was taken."
This caught Tanjiro's and Y/n's attention. They listened closely.
"It's so unsettling that this happens every night."
"Yeah I hate this..."
Y/n perked up at this.
"Tanjiro-san, this is our lead," Y/n whispered.
Tanjiro nodded, "Hai."
The two males started to run to Kazumi as they picked up bits and pieces of what the villagers are saying about the devastated looking male.
"Kazumi-san!!" Tanjiro called out making the other turn to look at him and Y/n.
"Me and my friend would like to inquire about the specifics of this situation," Tanjiro stated as he stood tall and proud, Y/n stood next to him, "May we?"

"Satoko was here when she disappeared," Kazumi said as he had brought the two slayers to the spot, "You two might not believe me..."
"We believe you," Y/n stated.
"We believe what you've said!!" Tanjiro shouted as he crouched to the floor, "I believe!!"
Y/n and Kazumi sweatdropped. Y/n shook his head and took out an onigiri and handed it to the other male.
"Here. While Tanjiro-san is doing that, you should eat something," Y/n said in a soft manner.
