Akaza never really believed in love, it was hard for him to do so. He was born with feint markings on his forearms and a bit on his face, and because of these birthmarks, many people avoided him. He was alone in a world that didn't like him, purely because they were afraid of him.

Akaza did try to fall in love with many people, however, the relationship always turned sour with the other person either using him or was pitying him. Thus, the reason Akaza didn't believe in love. However, his family thought otherwise.

Akaza's mother and father loved him dearly, with all of their heart. Since the family was rich, they gave Akaza the best life he could've have, however, they knew that a child's life for Akaza would never happen.

Akaza's parents searched high and low for someone that would accept Akaza for how he looked, and because of this, they found a certain someone. This someone was born in a poor family, almost homeless, but they were kind and loving. Just the right person Akaza's parents were looking for.

Akaza's parents promised the person's family money and a good place to live from their own money. At first the family refused, being way too kind for their own good to think that they deserved the money. But after a bit of persuasion and reassurance, the poor family agreed.

And that is how Y/n and Akaza came to meet each other. At first Akaza was nervous that Y/n would think of him as a freak or a weirdo, but Y/n just gave one of the most warmest smiles Akaza has ever seen from outside of family and told him how cool he looked.

Akaza and Y/n have known each other ever since they were little, and ever since they were little, Akaza couldn't help but feel a little flutter in his heart whenever he was near Y/n. As time moved on, so did the love Akaza had for Y/n, it was just so warming.

Y/n continued to be kind and loving to those around him, always giving a soft smile to whoever he knew. He helped a lot of people that was once was in his place, he gave people hope that there is still good out in the world. People could say that he was an angel from above.

The pure kindness that Y/n had made Akaza love him more. Akaza, lord help this man, has been in love with Y/n for as long as he could remember. It was almost painful by how much he loved Y/n, from his smile to his laughter, it was all heartful and warming.

Although Y/n is kind to everyone, he is especially kind to Akaza, the boy he met in childhood. No, it wasn't because Akaza's parents saved Y/n's family from poverty, it's the pure reason that he found Akaza mesmerizing.

From the feint birthmarks to the beautiful blue eyes, Y/n can't help but feel entranced by Akaza. Not only was Akaza kind to him but he was also willing to lay his life down for Y/n. Honestly, who wouldn't want that for a partner?

"Hey, Akaza," Y/n said one day as he and Akaza were out in a field, "If you could be born without markings, would you take it?"

Akaza was slightly shocked by the sudden question. He glanced at Y/n for a second before looking back up at the sky with the clouds making random shapes. He let out a small hum in thinking.

"I don't think I would take it," Akaza said finally.

Y/n turned to Akaza as he rested his head on his own shoulder, "Why is that?"

"Well..." Akaza hugged his knees as he gazed out on the field, "I wouldn't have met you."

"Me?"

"Yeah. You... are kind, Y/n. I like that. You didn't make fun of me when we were younger, you never thought of me as a monster, and you always stayed by my side no matter what happened. If I were able to restart my life with no birth markings, then I would've never been able to meet you, and I think that that is worse than getting bullied in school."

Y/n stared at Akaza for a moment longer. He then blushed as he let a soft grin take over his lips. He couldn't help it, he liked Akaza, and it made him happy that he was by his side too.

"You know Akaza," Y/n spoke up after a moment, "I think you're amazing."

Akaza blush as he scoffed and looked away, "You always say that, though."

"Well, that's because it's true! I would never lie to you."

"Then be more creative," Akaza huffed, "You say that same thing all the time, don't you have that imagination of yours to use?"

Y/n blinked a bit in shock, he then sighed as he propped himself on his hands, "What would happen if I said, I love you Akaza, and I think that you're so, so amazing that I'm too scared to say anything else."

Akaza flinched as he whipped his head to look at Y/n. Y/n had a calm smile as his eyes were closed out of happiness. Akaza noticed the blush on Y/n's cheeks, in fact he could feel himself blushing too.

"You... love me?" Akaza hesitated.

"Ever since we were kids," Y/n confessed, "You were just so unique and cool, how could I not? At first, I thought it was admiration, but as we grew older," He let out a chuckle, "I realized that it was love from my heart to you."

Akaza blushed red as he kept his gaze on Y/n. He always knew that Y/n was beautiful, but on this particular day, he seemed to be extra pretty. He could feel his heart beat faster very second he gazed longer at Y/n.

Y/n opened his eyes and looked at Akaza with a smile, "You know, love is what makes life divine. Whenever I'm with you, Akaza, I get a small taste of that divine life."

"So would you like that type of life forever?" Akaza stated boldly as he leaned closer to Y/n.

Y/n's eyes slightly widened but they soon warmed in a happy way, "That would be a dream come true."

Akaza pulled Y/n closer to him as their lips almost touched, "So... this is love..." Akaza muttered.

"This is love..." Y/n whispered back.

Both males closed their eyes as they let their lips touched naturally. Akaza held onto Y/n like he was glass, as Y/n held onto Akaza like he was diamond. The two stayed like that for a moment longer, enjoying the kiss they've been waiting for since ever.

Akaza, at first, never believed in love, but when he met Y/n, that statement completely changed. He now had someone to stay by his side forever, someone he will make sure will have the most loved life ever in history. Akaza really did find love, and he was so, so happy about it.
