To say the date was going great was a lie. Inosuke had finally mustered up the courage to ask his long time crush out on a date. He was really proud in himself that he was able to ask his crush out too, but everything was falling apart now.

Y/n, Inosuke's crush, have known Inosuke since kindergarten. He wasn't going to lie, he too was attracted to the wild male. In fact, he was absolutely ecstatic to have been asked out by Inosuke. But the date wasn't going so well.

First, Y/n was sprayed with water by a car when he and Inosuke were walking to a cafe. Then, Inosuke got a small food poisoning from the meat he was eating at the cafe. Inosuke tried to take Y/n to the pet store, but a bunch of kids were crowding around the place. Y/n tried to take Inosuke to the park but Inosuke was hit in the head by a ball. And everything was falling apart about this date.

At the moment, Y/n and Inosuke were sitting at a bench that looked out to the ocean. They weren't talking with one another, bummed out with how their date went and wishing it could've gone better.

Y/n couldn't help but felt like he should've been more careful with where he and Inosuke were going, maybe then Inosuke wouldn't be hit in the head and Y/n wouldn't have gotten wet with rain water.

Meanwhile, Inosuke thought he should've been better with planning the date. He wasn't going to lie, he winged most of the date. He dragged Y/n to a place that got him sick and to a pet store that was too crowded because of what time of the day was.

Needless to say, the date was going horrible and both sides couldn't help but thinks it was their own fault. Inosuke and Y/n didn't really want to face each other, ashamed of what they could've done better on the date.

The silence between the two was broken as Y/n let out a sigh. Inosuke glanced at Y/n and noticed that he had taken out his phone. Was Y/n already done with him? This made Inosuke's mind drift off in its thoughts.

"Hey," Y/n spoke up, "Inosuke."

'Please don't leave me...' Inosuke thought as he let out a grunt in questioning.

Y/n scratched his cheek, "I uh... I have-"

"You have to go?" Inosuke cut off, "That's fine... We can just... We can just not talk about this again, it was terrible..."

Y/n blinked for a bit before chuckling, "No silly. Of course, the date wasn't the best, sure, but I'm not leaving you here all by yourself."

Inosuke turned to Y/n in a bit of a shock of what he had said, "You're... not going to leave me?"

"Of course not," Y/n shook his head, he held up an earbud and motioned it to Inosuke, "I was going to ask you if you wanted to listen to music with me? The view of the ocean will be wonderful when the sunsets so how about we both watch it here, together?"

Inosuke looked at Y/n's hand before taking the earbud and putting it in his ear. He huffed and looked away, shaking his head as he smiled carefreely.

"Sure, this date is already a wreck anyways," Inosuke stated, "You always have the best ideas."

Y/n chuckled as he put in his earbud and turned on the soft music, he then turned to the sunset, "Don't say that, you are just as good as me, Inosuke."

Inosuke glanced at Y/n, he couldn't help but feel a blush raise on his cheeks. The soft gold light of the setting sun decorated Y/n's best features on his face, making him more stunning to Inosuke. He smiled to himself as he rested his chin on his knees.

"I'm glad that I fell in love with you," Inosuke mumbled.

Y/n chuckled, hearing Inosuke's words. He looked back at Inosuke with a soft smile and loving eyes. He too had a blush on his cheeks. The sudden attention from Y/n caught Inosuke a bit off guard.

"And I'm glad that I fallen in love with you too, Inosuke," Y/n said back.

Inosuke blinked in shock at what Y/n had said. He then let out a loud laugh of joy as he couldn't contain his smile. Y/n laughed softly at Inosuke's happiness, finding his own happiness when Inosuke smiled.

So what if the date went bad? Y/n and Inosuke still loved each other, and it helped a lot that they both confessed to each other after the bad date. At this point, anymore bad dates can't ruin their mood since they both had each other now.
