TW: Abandonment, death
Mike and Ike loved their loved and most importantly each other.(that's the cheesiest thing i've ever written) They had an okay home life. They lived with their grandparents and they always stood by each other, regardless of anything.
Mike and Ike knew that their parents didn't want them but their grandparents always told them so story of a disaster that killed their parents. They believed it when they were young but as they got older they strayed to doubt their grandparents stories.
When they received a letter saying they had won a scholarship they were ecstatic. They were more importantly excited about the fact that they would be going together.
They were reluctant to leave their grandparents. They were old and accident prone and they constantly worried about what might happen if they got hurt. But at the end of the day, they had no choice.
Their grandfather drove them to the school and their grandmother came with them.
Overall, the twins were happy and loved their life. They had all they needed, each other.
