A/N: Suggestive conversation toward the end of the chapter.

---

"Teacher, your face is red."

Im Soo-ah turned to the cute little face staring up at her. Ji-ho was an unexpected companion that day, Ji-Sung belatedly asking if Jin-heon and Soo-ah could babysit him. Ji-Sung and his wife was supposed to be in a meeting and the babysitter had an emergency so they needed someone to look after Ji-ho.

"I know you're busy, brother, so feel free to decline. I just thought to ask since Ji-ho has been asking for you," Ji-Sung shared. "I do not mean to impose."

"There's no issue with me but let me check with Soo-ah. We were supposed to have date day," Jin-heon said.

Fortunately, it was no issue with the teacher.

When Jin-heon came to pick her up, Ji-ho was already in tow and when she appeared to meet them at the driveway of her apartment, Jin-heon straightened up to hand her flowers.

Ji-ho, in an outfit that matched his uncle -- a blue shirt that was left open to reveal a plain white shirt tucked in jeans -- handed her a tumbler. "Coffee!" he declared.

"Thank you! Oh, both of you are so handsome!" Soo-ah complimented.

"I'm more handsome than Uncle, right?" Ji-ho asked.

"Yah!" Jin-heon protested. "I picked your clothes."

"Yes, Uncle. But, I was the one who put jello on my hair to make it nice," Ji-ho said.

"Gel, Ji-ho-ah, not jello," Jin-heon corrected.

"You are both equally handsome," Im Soo-ah insisted. "Shall we go? Jin-heon you might be late for your meetings."

Escorting both Ji-ho and Soo-ah into the car, Jin-heon took in her face that had some blush, a glossy lipstick, wearing jeans, a dressy white blouse and sandals that showed off her red toenails, he told her in a low voice, "You look very fetching today."

"Thank you," she said, with a beaming smile up at him.

Today was the first time she saw Jin-heon at work. Sure, she's seen him cook at his apartment but to deal with documents, inspect the restaurant from the structures, down to the chairs and the menu, Im Soo-ah was pleasantly shocked.

And impressed.

She had always seen a more laid-back side to Hyun Jin-heon but with this venture of his, his focus was razor sharp and he worked with precision timing.

"I'm sorry, Buddy, Soo-ah. It looks like I'm going to have to be here for another hour," Jin-heon said, close to lunch.

"That's okay, Uncle!" Ji-ho assured. "Teacher and I are working on my Math so I'm advance for next year! And I'm drawing pictures you can put up in this place."

Jin-heon chuckled. "Good idea, Buddy. These walls need more color."

"Will you really put my drawings here, Uncle?!" Ji-ho asked, hopefully.

"Yes!" Jin-heon shifted to the topic at hand. "I'll cook our lunch. Do you have any special requests?"

"French fries!" Ji-ho called out. Jin-heon agreed but only after instructing Ji-ho that he needed to have vegetables, too. "Okay, the broccoli you made before. Can I have some fried rice, too?"

Jin-heon nodded, thinking about what dish he could come up with Ji-ho's requests. To Soo-ah, he then asked, "Any requests, my Love?"

"I would love some salad and maybe whatever is the house special?" Im Soo-ah said. "If the portions are too big, I would love to share it with you."
