The snow of Atlas didn't faze the Maiden, it was a cool breeze at best when compared to Rhodes who was half frozen.

"Finally made it." The Huntsman grumbled. "Let's go."

Rhodes walked a small set of stairs into a massive building, some sort of luxurious hotel.

Glass Unicorn...

The lines of people coming and going made her stomach churn, their perfume and cologne was the last thing she wanted to smell.

With a reluctant sigh, the Maiden entered to feel warmth, hear soft classical music, and nearly lose her distant lunch.

Hell was a metaphorical word, differing from each and every person. It was also often used by those who believed something, not a religion, more like a place someone deserved to be.

That's what the Maiden felt at the moment, she felt like she was in hell. Snobby folk, spoiled Hunters, and overall undeserving folk surrounded her.

They giggled with their posh accents, blushing faces, and obnoxious jokes. The higher class of life just didn't suit her.

A pair of women - possibly sisters - giggled with pointed fingers, mocking just about anyone in their sights.

The owner of the establishment was particularly two faced, offering sweet smiles with an under-sided pinch to her stern eyes.

The Maiden shook her head with a deep sigh, she didn't know why Rhodes decided to stay here, and at this point, she didn't mind camping out in the wilderness.

"Hey." Said man called out to her. "Come on, got us some rooms."

She tried her best to ignore those around her, so much so that Rhodes had taken notice.

"Don't mind them, they're... just like that."

She huffed with a roll of her eyes, edging on a line of disregard and an angry outburst.

They took a small staircase to a long row of rooms, there he handed her a card with a stern expression.

"Try and be up by seven, we've got some things to take care of."

After giving the Huntsman a short nod, she swiped the card from his hand, using it to lock her room door behind her.

Dropping into a cozy bed with a small groan, she rubbed her tired eyes profusely.

She had nearly forgotten that she agreed to this. It was day one of her new life, and hopefully the first step to many more.

The bed beneath her was new, not in the literal sense, more like an experience. It was nice compared to the cold dark interior of Salem's castle.

She shuddered at the thought of it, it also gave her the ample time to think, to take in everything that had happened.

She had failed her mission, a task she began to recognize as suicidal as the days went on.

It was surreal. The amount of power Y/N had at the palm of his hands, and he chose to spare her, practically playing with her when she gave it her all, it was staggering to say the least.

There was a point in her life - a moment not too long ago - when she thought she wielded ultimate power, with just a flick of a finger she could command nature itself.

It was foolish from the beginning. She couldn't believe she once thought it possible to kill Y/N, even when his presence was felt so deep in the dark lands.

She cleared her throat, thus clearing her mind. It bothered her, but not as much as getting all the dirt and grime out of her hair and off her body.

It was strange how quiet it was, a silence that was peaceful and not menacing. Even just getting up to walk to the bathroom felt invigorating, free.
