On a rare occasion, Y/N was able to sleep without a blink from his past, it was a very welcome change allowing him to sleep half the day away.

He awoke to feel a slight swing in his balance, not too discomforting, just enough to relax him with the soft push of the ocean waves.

After a moment, he pulled himself up from a hammock to feel the sway in his weight.

Sea sickness must be awful...

Taking his time to reassume his entire kit, heard muffled voices from above, soft and overlapping.

Taking the face cover Saphron gave, Y/N once again set it around his shirt collar, but not without feeling the rings hanging from his neck. The gift obscured it along with his tie and dress shirt.

Swinging his pack up and around his shoulders, he was sure to bring along the parachute he had taken as well before emerging from the cabin.

"Ahhh, there he is."

Lounged around the boats deck were the strange gathering of people, Y/N wasn't sure what to call them or even knew what they called themselves.

Seated in the center of the deck was the man from last night, his dark splotchy hair was kept in a hood. Y/N knew better than to assume, but it was very reminiscent of a hyena's coat.

"Come over here." He beckoned to Y/N and pat the floor before him. "Have a seat."

Figuring he had no reason to say no, Y/N laid his chute on the floor and sat down.

"My friend." He greeted. "When you woke up, it felt like we all did."

"What do you mean?" Y/N asked with a frown.

"Okay." He took a deep breath and hardened his sitting form with certain flexed muscles. "You're a Huntsman? Or have an extensive knowledge to combat?"

Y/N merely gave a vague response. "Sure."

"Good, good." He was unfazed. "Now, close your eyes and feel your surroundings."

Taking a deep breath, Y/N shut his eyes to almost immediately feel an obvious presence to his side.

"What do you feel?" He whispered. "Without opening your eyes tell me who it is."

His brows furrowing just a pinch in concentration, Y/N could already tell it was a big presence. The answer was obvious.

"Célian."

"...Wrong."

Opening his eyes in mild shock, Y/N quickly turned to who it was, only to see Leah stifling a laugh then give a small wave.

"Our aura is our soul. Our soul is what makes us man. It can be controlled just like you flexing your arm, or blinking your eye lids... Observe."

Deeply exhaling while slowly distancing his hands, the man sharply inhaled while slapping his hands together.

Y/N's eyes widened to see the palms of his hands glow a faint orange. The light grew in intensity as he pulled his hands apart, and which it was a solid extension of his aura, forming a simple baton.

"It's all around us, every living being can summon it, even a dog..." He then chuckled as his aura made weapon crackled then faded away, similar to when someone's aura breaks. "I'm not sure who would unlock a dog's aura though. It still stands. Leah here can focus her aura for more than her peers ever could, not from practice or study, can you guess why?"

Turning to Leah, Y/N simply placed his index finger near his ear, then, lifted and poked his cheek near his mouth.

'Deaf.'
