-Third Person POV-

Draco was woken up by the sunlight that came through the window of the bedroom that he was staying in, which for now is his bedroom.

Clanking noises of plates and water running down from the faucet were heard from the kitchen.

Draco got out of his bed and went out of his bedroom, and found Y/n washing the plates, pans and utensils she used for cooking. He admired her even when her back was only facing him. He truly wished he could hug her from behind as he would use to do, but he could not, for it will be marked as rude for Y/n.

The cottage was a bit small but comfortable. The kitchen and the dining room are in one place, her little painting studio was nearby the living room and the bathroom was nearby the bedrooms and the kitchen.

The cottage may be small, but it is perfect for a family of 3.

Breakfast was already placed on a small round table. It consists of Milk in a Jar, and two plates of Pancakes with strawberry, butter and syrup as its toppings.

It reminded him of when they made pancakes at midnight, as they didn't have their dinner because of their argument about Michael.

When Y/n turned around, taking her apron off, she got startled when she saw Draco leaning against the doorframe and he seemed to be deep in his thoughts.

"Were you thinking of what will you do today?" She asked, causing Draco to snap back to reality.

"Oh...Uhh, no- I mean yes. I was thinking of...strolling on the beach." He spoke nervously. "But where's your dog?"

"You mean Daisy? She's outside playing." She told. "Come on, I've cooked you breakfast."

Draco smiled as they both took a seat and Y/n poured her glass with Milk. Draco, however, couldn't take his eyes off of Y/n. He just became more and more in love with her even though the girl in front of him could not remember him. It hurts, yes, but he knows how to handle the heavy pain in his chest.

Then Daisy came in, sitting on the floor nearby Draco, as she stared at him with admirable or perhaps just wanted attention from him.

"You bought her? or adopt?" He asked, giving Daisy a piece of his pancake.

"Adopted. I have been wanting to own one." She told.

It made Draco's heart happy, for she got what she wanted, that is adopting a dog. The sad thing was that...he promised her that they'll adopt together one day.

"Where did you adopt her?" He asked.

"Well, it was unplanned actually. I was in the muggle world, taking pictures for my paintings and then I stumbled upon an Animal Shelter. All of the Dogs in there are abandoned and abused. Daisy is one of the abandoned Dogs and she's the very first dog that caught my eyes. So now, here she is, living with me comfortably as she always deserves." She took a bite of her strawberry. "You know, Daisy can accompany you while you take your stroll at the beach."

"You sure?"

She nodded while the edge of her fork was still in her mouth.

Draco was sitting down on the sand whilst Daisy's head was laying down on his legs and Draco gave her a gentle pat as he stared at the ocean. He was thinking about her, about how will he tell her that she was obliviated. How?

Y/n was at the orphanage that she volunteered at and this time is the perfect time for Draco to think about how he'll enunciate the truth of what had happened to her. But all the things he thought about will just be a fail.

Oh for Merlin's sake, the girl will just see Draco as a crazy man if Draco told her she was obliviated or told her that the ring on her hand was their wedding ring. It would be a complete mess.

"I wish she knew that I'm her husband, Daisy." He spoke.

Daisy lifted her head slightly, looking at Draco and tilted her head, for she was confused.

"She cannot remember me, Daisy." Tears swelled in his eyes. "She cannot...She was obliviated." He sighed. "If only I came earlier, on the day her father took her, I would have prevented it."

Daisy stood up and caressed Draco's neck with the use of her head, letting him know that everything will be alright.

"What should I do...?" He sighed, wiping the tears from his eyes and thinking of a better way for him to make Y/n remember him, as Daisy went back on laying her head down on Draco's legs.

Then an idea snapped his mind.

It was a suitable and the only way that could help him.

Telling her the truth. The truth about that he is not here for vacation, but because of a girl who could not remember him.

When Draco was going up to the cottage with Daisy by his side, he saw Y/n with another man, talking and laughing and this made the young blond man jealous, but he knows that he should not give any signs of anger.

The man was tall, handsome, his hair is curly and dark, and Draco could identify his race because of his accent and skin. He determined that this man is from the continent of Africa.

"Draco!" Y/n called, waving her hand at him whilst her other hand was holding her bike.

Draco smiled and gave her nod, trying to hide such anger and jealousy from expressing them. But he didn't notice that his hands were curled into a fist in his pockets only until Y/n and the man got closer.

"Draco, I want you to meet my friend." She looked at the man, smiling, which only just made Draco's heart furious.

"I'm Mpho Solomon, from Namibia, Africa. I just migrated here last year." Introduced the man named Mpho, as he lifted his hand for a handshake

"It's nice to meet you, Mpho. I'm Draco Malfoy." Draco shook his hand and tried placing a friendly smile, for they won't think that he's crazy. "Africa? So you went to-"

"Uagadou, yes." He smiled. "Just graduated there last two years."

"He is also a volunteer in the orphanage," Y/n added. "He's the one who helped me when I was signing up as a volunteer."

Damn. This just made the young blond mab even more jealous. If only Y/n still remember him, she would've said that Draco is her beloved.

It was in the middle of the night when Y/n was awoken from hearing a whimper in the other room. She knew that it was Draco, but she wondered why was he crying. Was it a bad dream?

She slowly stood up from her bed, not letting Daisy, who was sleeping next to her, wake up.

When she arrived in Draco's room, she found him crying in his sleep and it worries her. She doesn't know why she feels such a different feeling of fret. She feels like she was being crushed into thousands of pieces. However, she didn't bother to find out why, for right now the blond boy needs to wake up from his bad dream.

"Draco?" She shook his shoulder, waking him up but he couldn't until she held his cheek.

Draco opened his eyes, breathing heavily and met Y/n's eyes.

"Are you alright? You're having a nightmare." She spoke, worried.

However, Draco just pulled her to bed, hugging her and leaving Y/n bewildered for what he just did, without any word from him let alone an explanation.

"Draco, I think-"

"Please, stay..." He whispered. "I need you..."

Y/n felt something. She felt butterflies fluttering inside her stomach. She just kind of melted when Draco hugged her tightly. It's like she feels nostalgic for this feeling, but she knows that she never have felt this way before. But, she just let him embrace her, for she knew that he needed this and she knew that there is this feeling where she also wanted this.

And yes, questions were running in her mind about why she wanted this, of why she doesn't feel awkward, but comfortable.
