[4 years later]
-Y/n's POV-
Draco and I were sitting down on a picnic cloth whilst watching our children with Daisy as they chase dragonflies on the fields that Draco had shown me when were 17. It feels weird that the time passed by so quickly. It just feels surreal. It feels like it was just only yesterday when he first took me here.
We have been blessed by another child, 2 years after Scorpius's birth. Maia was her name and now she's 4 years old. Both of our children inherited a lot of their father's features. Their hair, their eyes, and their pale skin.
What's more fascinating is that I realized the little boy I painted years ago was our little boy, Scorpius. I did not expect it to be him. I didn't see that coming and it is no wonder why I get this different feeling whenever I look at the painting before Scorpius was born.
"It's weird isn't it." Draco grinned, meeting my eyes.
"Weird what?" I giggled.
"We are only arranged before and I did not expect that we'll fall for each other." He chuckled softly. "And now, we have 2 children and the third one is on the way." He placed his hand on my stomach and planted a kiss on it.
It's true that we are expecting another child and I was already 6 months pregnant. Although, I still couldn't believe that my dream of becoming a mother came true.
"I feel so lucky to have you." He placed his finger under my chin and kissed me on the lips. "Feel so lucky to have a beautiful wife and a mother of my children." He kissed me softly on my forehead.
"I— I wamt to be kwissed too, Papa." Maia ran towards us whilst holding Scorpius' hand.
Daisy laid her head down my lap and rested for a while since she got tired of playing all day with the children whilst Draco gave a peck of a kiss on Maia's cheek.
Scorpius, however, sat down in between us taking a piece of grape and bread on the plate, whilst Maia ran to me and hugged me, causing Daisy to dodge its head immediately, avoiding Maia to sit on her face.
"Papa, when will you teach me to fly a broom?" Scorpius asked. "You said that you started to learn when you are at my age."
When Draco was about to part his lips to speak, I glared at him, knowing that it's still dangerous for Scorpius to learn how to fly a broom at such a young age.
"When you're old enough, Scorp." Draco gently patted our son's head.
"And when will that be?" Scorpius looked up to his father.
"When you're sev-"
"When you're 10, Scorp." I cut Draco off, disagreeing with the age that Draco was going to say.
"Yey! I cannot wait to turn 10." He jumped up from the picnic cloth and ran back to the field.
"Bwother, wait for me." Maia chased her brother.
Chuckles left on Draco's lips and mine.
As Draco turned his head to Daisy, he looked as if he was confused about something about Daisy. He eyed Daisy up and down, which made me look at him curiously. Then Daisy barked at him, staring at him like daggers.
"Why are you looking at Daisy as if you are trying to observe something?" I questioned, caressing Daisy's head.
"It's weird that Daisy surpassed the lifespan of dogs." He exclaimed.
"Of course, silly." I laughed. "I placed a spell to let her age like how humans age."
"So, you cheated on Daisy's age?"
"Sort of..." I bit my lower lip. "Yes."
"And where did you learn such spell." He interrogated.
"Luna, Neville." I grinned.
Then, I remembered the time when Luna and Neville helped me try on producing my Patronus, a charm that identifies my Spirit Animal Protector that was based on my trait. I was so busy achieving some things and have forgotten one unfinished goal.
I stood up, my hand was still on my stomach as Draco immediately assisted me when he noticed that I was standing up.
"Where are you going?" Draco asked.
"Nowhere. Just here." I told. "I must try and produce my Patronus."
"Hey, you can sit down while trying to." He said.
I nodded in reply, smiling at him, as we both sat back down on the picnic cloth.
"You haven't produced your Patronus yet?" Draco asked.
"No. Have you?"
"Well," I heard his tongue click inside his mouth. "I already have aaand...I got a dragon."
"Oh, that's quite fascinating." I mused. "Wait, when did you-"
"I tried producing my Patronus when I haven't shown you this part of the forest yet."
"When I refused to speak to you?"
"Yes."
"Oh." I truly felt guilty when he said 'yes', which means he produced his Patronus alone, and he must be sad at that time.
"I was able to form my Patronus because I was thinking about you." He smiled, lightening up my mood. "And maybe you might too." He took my wand from the basket and handed it to me, moving his head closer, pressing his cheeks unto mine, as he held my hand that has my wand. "Think about what or who makes you happy, love."
I smiled and nodded.
"Swish your wand and..." He lifted my hand, guiding me on how to cast the charm. "Say the incantation. Now, you try." He said softly, letting my hand go.
"Expecto Patronum." Then a bluish light formed into a Tonkinese Cat.
I was truly amused and fascinated by it, especially now that I was able to see what my Patronus is.
I thought of him. I thought of us together with our children and Daisy. All along, I just need to think of what makes me happy the most. And now, I finally did.
How uncanny it was that our relationship started just because of our grandfathers' promises on putting us both in the world of marriage. Our marriage has been through many ups and downs and we still managed to find a way to each other. It was what fate does. Fate makes people keep their relationship stronger and fate disagrees on breaking them apart, especially when they are soulmates.
Maia and Scorpius were amused at the sight of the Patronus I made. They were jumping around and having so much fun trying on reaching the Patronus.
"Tonkinese Cat," Draco uttered. "Defines you really well; Curious and Lovable." He chuckled, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Tell me, who were you thinking when you cast it?"
The corners of my mouth curved up into a smile, then I spoke,
"You...Us."
