(P.S. I like to use names instead of Y/N because It can be very annoying writing 'you' 'you're' 'your' all the time when I'm trying to write passionate moments or just about whatever is it when I'm writing in these imagines)
To anybody that's curious about it.

The poetry club at her local black college was Imani Wills' favorite pastime, and nobody enjoyed it as much as she did. During her time there, Imani had made a few close friends, including Chris, Juno, Jewel, and Marcus. However, just when she thought she was the club's biggest fan, an unexpected contender emerged.

*RECORD SCRATCH*

As it turned out, Imani wasn't the only one who loved poetry more than anything else. Nasir Jones was a fellow club member who shared her passion for the art form.

She used to despise this guy every time he walked down the hallway, his timberlands hit on the floor, the way his beanie wasn't properly put on, his baggy clothes and the way he talked.

Imani had always believed that belittling Nasir was the only way to prove her superiority over him. However, to her surprise, Nasir's poetry had the power to disarm her. Each time he offered to share his verses, Imani found herself hanging on to his every word, feeling as if he had reached inside her soul and taken hold of it.

Despite her best efforts to deny it, Imani couldn't help but develop a crush on Nasir. But she refused to acknowledge her feelings, choosing instead to bury them deep within her heart.

Of course, Nasir noticed and knew the way she looked at him before when read his poems to the club. Nasir wasn't clueless to the fact that she had a crush on him. He wanted to hear it for himself.

After their classes were finally over, Imani hurried her way through the hallway as she saw Nasir standing at the classroom door, she kept her cool as not to get so excited to see him but her heart was beating so fast and she thought he could hear it too.

Imani paused at the door of the classroom, and that's when their gazes collided. Her cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, and Nasir was quick to notice. He couldn't help but smirk, while Imani tried to regain her composure, her face scrunched up in a playful manner.

The hallway was eerily silent, not a single soul in sight, leaving the two of them standing there alone. As they waited for a few minutes for their classmates to arrive, it became apparent that no one else was coming. Even the teacher was nowhere to be seen.

Where could they be?
They thought in unison.

Until they saw a sign on the door.
