Summary: Natasha and Alena drifted apart due to work and the struggle of working out how to get everyone back, but Alena is determined to make her mom smile again.

Natasha was stressed. Since everyone was snapped, she'd been working on how to get them back.

Alena missed her mom.

She knew that it was top priority to get everyone back, but with Peter gone, she didn't have any friends and her mother was the only one she could truly talk to.

So, one rainy day, she made her way to her Mom's office.

,,Hey Mama, whats up"

The 16 year old smiled as she slipped into the office and closed the door.

,,The sky. What's wrong, Alena"

Natasha responded dryly, not even taking her eyes off the monitor.

,,I thought we could gave a girls night or something. Dad's gone and I'm-"

Alena suggested before her mom cut across her.

,,Not now, Alena. I'm kinda busy"

She sighed while rubbing her temple.

,,Oh okay, I'll be in my room I guess. Я люблю тебя мама (I love you, mom)"

The 16 year old informed before walking out, looking like a kicked puppy.

,,Я тоже люблю тебя, маленький свет (Love you too, little light)"

Natasha responded before going back to working.

Truth was, she felt guilty for pushing her daughter away, but she needed to get everyone back.

She felt like it was her duty.

Alena didn't go to her room, but instead, she laid on the couch while turning on a movie.

The redhead wasn't able to stay focused for long.

She soon fell asleep.

Natasha walked out of her office hours later, just to find her daughter huddled together on their living room couch.

The young redhead looked troubled and unhappy. A deep frown characterised her face.

With a sigh, the older redhead sat next to the younger one.

,,Mama?"

Alena mumbled, still half asleep as she cuddled into her mother.

Her head was in Natashas lap, her eyes closed.

For the first time in a while Alena was at ease and Natasha smiled.

,,I'm sorry little light"

The assasin sighed while stroking her daughters hair.

,,Don't be, I know it's top priority to get everyone back"

Alena mumbled truthfully.

Natashas heart melted.

She didn't know how in the world she deserved to have the girl in her lap as her daughter.

,,What did you want to do earlier?"

The older redhead asked softly.

The child in her lap stayed quiet for a minute.

,,Let's go outside, like, right now"

Alena responded eventually, rather timidly.

When Natasha looked up, she found that it was pouring outside.

,,Little light, it's pouring buckets outside"

She reminded her daughter with a smirk on her face.

,,So? We're not made of sugar, are we?"

Alena responded with a shrug. She had sat up and looked at her Mother inquiringly.

The older redhead thought for a moment.

,,Fine, let's go"

She then concluded with a smile.

A smile broke on Alenas face. She'd been waiting for an opportunity like this.

Minutes later, Mother and daugther found themselves outside in the pouring rain with nothing but a shirt and a pair of leggings on.

Alena was jumping around, her hair drenched and glued to her face.

Natasha didn't stand far from her, smiling at her.

,,Танцуй со мной, мама (Dance with me, Mama)"

The 16 year old grinned as she took her Mom's hands into her own.

,,Ты серьезно, светлячок? (Are you serious, little light?)"

The older redhead asked, though her face wore a smile.

Alena let out a laugh and jumped.

,,Да я, мама. Давай забудем обо всем. (Yes I am, Mama. Cmon, let's forget about everything.)"

She smiled as she tugged at her Mom's hands.

Natasha sent her daughter a look, before she started dancing with her.

And it helped both mother and daughter to let some of the stress and worry leave their minds and souls.

Eventually, the both of them tired out.

Alena hugged her mom tightly, before smiling brightly at her.

Natasha cupped her daughters face, an affectionate look in her eyes.

,,What?"

The 16 year old grinned as she saw her mothers expression.

,,I'm just so lucky to have you, мало света"

Her mother responded with a soft smile.

,,I won't go anywhere, я обещаю (I promise). Я люблю твою маму (I love you, mama)"

Alena promised with a nod. She knew that her mother was incredibly paranoid to loose her.

So, with her words, the 16 year old made her mother tear up.

This was an ability only Alena held. She was the only one who could make her mom cry easily.

,,Я тоже люблю тебя, мой маленький свет (I Love you too, my little light)"

Natasha responded before pressing a kiss to her daughters forehead.
