Alena looked down the cliff.
Her mind was racing. She knew that someone had to make a sacrifice, or else millions would stay dead.
She also knew that she was the one who would make the sacrifice. She just did.
,,Alena, don't even think about it"
Natashas voice threatened from further away.
She and Clint were still pondering and quite frankly, arguing over who of the two should jump.
,,One of us has to jump"
Alena mumbled, inaudible to the other two.
She felt her mothers hand grab hers.
,,ты не можешь прыгать (You cant jump)"
She whispered.
The 19 year old turned to her, tears glistering in her eyes.
,,Тогда кто будет? Ты? Мама, я не могу потерять тебя (Then who will? You? Mama, i cannot loose you)"
She asked, her voice shaky but determined.
,,У тебя, любовь моя, еще впереди жизнь (You, my love, still got your whole life ahead of you)"
Natasha negotiated, her grip tightening on her daughters hand.
,,Но чего это стоит, когда ты не в этом (But what's that worth when you won't be in it)"
Alena asked quietly. The thought of loosing her mom made her sick.
Natasha remained silent. She didn't even wanna think about a world without her daughter in it.
,,I'll do it. The both of you know what I've become"
Clint suddenly threw in.
,,No"
Both redheads responded in unison. The both of them knew that Clint had a family he needed to come home to.
Natasha immediately rushed to him, leaving Alena alone with her thoughts once more.
The 19 year old redhead peered down the cliff in front of her for the thousandth time.
Her thoughts were disturbed by the sound of an explosion.
Alena whipped her head around just to see an arrow fly towards her.
,,Hey, what the fuck"
She yelled as she was forced to the ground by it.
,,Your Mother will kill me if I let you jump"
Clint stated just as he made a run for the cliff.
Natasha flung herself on top of him, successfully crashing him to the ground.
She glanced at Alena to make sure she wasn't able to jump.
The younger redhead watched as her mother and Clint fought each other for the sacrifice.
Neither of them paid enough attention to her to realise that she scrambled upwards again.
Alena was running towards the cliff at full speed now.
