Summary: After the blip, Alena slips into depression. She finally manages to open up to Natasha about it.

The blip.

That horrible word triggered flashbacks in Alenas mind.

Flashbacks of everyone around her fading into dust.

Flashbacks of Peter sobbing in her arms about not wanting to go.

Flashbacks about the fear she had when she couldn't see her parents anywhere, the fear of having to live without them, the fear of being alone.

In a beat, the 16 year old snapped out of it.

She shot up straight in her bed, cold sweat on her forehead.

Her eyes darted towards the alarm clock next to her bed.

3.28 AM.

Alena covered her eyes and fell backwards into her pillows.

It's all your fault

You should've fought harder

You couldn't save him

You should've been the one to get snapped

Tears fell down Alenas face, running down the side of her face as she silently sobbed.

The Intrusive thoughts and self gaslighting made her feel worthless and undeserving of life and she didn't know how to stop them.

She didn't know how to get out of the hole she had fallen into.

Alena didn't want to talk to her parents about it, especially not her mom.

Though she knew that they wouldn't judge her, she felt as though she was the only one struggling.

She was afraid of being labelled as weak.

So, she dealt with it on her own.

Alena knew that what was going on in her mind wasn't healthy, but as of now, she didn't have the courage to talk about it.

After a while, she was finally able to fall back asleep.

A few hours later, she woke up to someone lightly running their hand through her auburn waves.

,,Shhh, its alright, you're alright мало света (little light)"

Natashas voice soothed softly.

,,Mama?"

Alena croaked out, her eyes half closed but her gaze fixated upon her mother.

,,Я здесь, мой огонек, ты в порядке (I'm here, my little light, you're alright)"

The older redhead mumbled, her gaze softly laying on her daughter.

,,What's wrong?"

The younger one finally inquired, mildly confused.

,,You were screaming bloody murder until someone came and sat next to you"

Natasha informed the 16 year old, worry lingering in her voice.

,,Oh"

Alena breathed, before she sunk into her thoughts.

She needed to tell someone how she felt, what the blip did to her.

So, she sat up, her blue eyes searching for her mothers emerald ones.

,,Mama?"

She began, her gaze now dropping to her hands.

,,Alena?"

Nat responded.

A small smile directed to her daughter formed on her face.

When the 16 year old didn't answer, Natasha took hold of her hands.

In the process, she lifted Alenas sleeves up a little by accident.

What the redhead saw next left her heart aching and her mind racing.

There were thin, red cuts littered across her sixteen year old daughters arms.

They didn't look that severe, but immediately, Natashas mind went to one thing.

Self harm.

Alena noticed her mothers gaze on her arms and the broken expression on her face.

,,I-I think I need help, Mama"

She whispered, barely audible.

,,Мало света ..."

Nat breathed back, before embracing her daughter gently.

She knew what it was like to fall into a deep hole, she'd been there.

,,What happened? Do you want to talk about it?"

The older redhead inquired, careful not to push to hard.

Alena hesitated.

She knew that she needed the help, she knew that her mom was the one who could give her the help she needed.

She knew that if she told her mom she would make sure that she would feel better soon.

She knew that if she told her, she'd get healthy.

And if Alena was honest, being healthy was all she wanted.

,,The blip. I uh, I get flashbacks, I don't sleep in fear of them, I feel like it's all my fault, Mama, there's a voice in my head telling me I should ... end it all"

She finally blurted out, at first a little uncertain but the further she got, the more serious she became.

,,Oh мало света. I know how hard that is... This isn't your fault, it never was. We should've made sure you were okay earlier"

Natasha soothed, now cupping her daughters face.

,,Can you help me?"

Alena asked, her voice now shaky and only a whisper.

Natasha nodded.

She gave the 16 year old a kiss to the temple, before embracing her.

,,We'll be alright, I promise, Моя красавица (my beautiful girl)"

A/N: Ello beautiful people, how ya doing.
This one's a little more serious than the ones I usually do and I'm sorry if anything of the depression bit is incorrect. I know some of you struggle out there and I want you to know that there's always someone who'll help you.
I promise it'll get better if only you try.
Okay, that's it on my end, hope you have a wonderful day.
Stay amazing and see you around. Love you <3
