Tony's annual Halloween party was slowly approaching. Both you and Wanda were currently brainstorming ideas for you since you still had no idea what to go as.

'I still don't know why you haven't decided on an idea yet,' Wanda was amused by your lack of preparation. It always surprised her how prepared you could be leading up to and on missions but in your normal day-to-day life you left everything to last minute.

'At this rate I'll be chucking a sheet over my head and calling it a ghost,' Wanda couldn't help but laugh at the memories of the last halloween party. It was so last minute you didn't even have a white sheet. Everyone gave you weird looks all night as you wore a bright pink sheet and called yourself a ghost.

'Well I'm here to make sure we don't have a repeat of last year. You still managed to look cute though,' You turned your head away from Wanda as you felt yourself blush slightly at the comment.

You have had feelings for Wanda for a while, though you'd never tell her. You were afraid of ruining the friendship you so carefully kept protected. You were happy to just have her be your friend, even if your heart longed for more.

'Y/N?' Wanda waved a hand in front of you bringing you away from the thoughts that swirled your mind.

'Hm?' You raised your eyebrows at Wanda indicating that you hadn't been listening to the women sitting next to you.

'I said why don't you go as your favourite thing?' As soon as she said that it was like a lightbulb went off in your head.

You knew thoughts like this don't stick around for very long so before Wanda knew it you had vanished from her side and from the kitchen. You realised you had left without saying anything to Wanda and you felt bad for probably confusing the poor girl. However, you had to pull off this costume idea. Maybe you can express your feelings to her through your idea.

'Hey Nat!' You said excitedly as you barged into her room.

'Oh Y/N, why don't you come in,' Natasha quipped rolling her eyes at her best friend.

'I need your help. I've thought of the best costume idea,'

You started to go through your idea and plan on how to make it with Natasha. You really only needed Natasha's help since you left it so late and knew you couldn't pull it off without help. And you really wanted to pull this off.

'She's going to love it Y/N/N,' You sure hoped so.

You don't think you've ever felt this nervous before. Your hands were sweaty and you could feel your heart beating through your chest as you made sure your costume was on perfectly. You were going to meet up with Wanda at the party, made you more nervous knowing her reaction to your costume will be in front of all your friends.

You arrived at the party later than you had hoped, but your friends weren't surprised. All of your friends eyes were on you though as you entered. They were all surprised that you actually managed to come with a decent costume.

'Am I seeing double? Who's the real Wanda,' Tony joked causing everyone to laugh. Wanda looked you up and down smirking at your choice of costume.

Soon enough you made your way over to the bar to get another drink. Trying to ease the nerves, you haven't been able to speak to Wanda yet so you still didn't know what she even thought of your costume.

'You pull off me better than I do,' You heard your favourite voice from behind you.

'You did say I should come as my favourite thing. So I chose my favourite person,' You said shyly as you faced Wanda. She couldn't help the smile that spread across her face hearing that she was your favourite person.

'Am I really your favourite?'

'Would it be a bad thing if you were?' Wanda's closeness mixed with the alcohol made your heart feel like it would beat out of your chest.

'Detka, you're my favourite too,' You and Wanda were dangerously close. You were about to lean in when Wanda moved away slightly. You pouted at Wanda, confusion taking over, you thought you must've misheard or read too much into things.

'Get out of that pretty little head of yours, dorogoy. You've been drinking and you're dressed like me. I'd feel like I was kissing myself,' You couldn't help but laugh, feeling relieved that you didn't take anything the wrong way.

Wanda took your hand and led you to dance. You couldn't believe your luck. The night had gone the way you had hoped. Thank god you had a good idea for once.
