As we agreed, Angie and I didn't deny the rumors about us dating. It really didn't take much and we continued acting around each other as usual. It was fun seeing how people believed our lie and I felt way lighter for some reason. It didn't feel like that at all when I had been engaged to Alastair and thought that the reason was because this time it was an act and it was my choice.

Having gone back to our daily life, I decided to have lunch with Saber and Azore. Angie didn't pretend to be Orange anymore and Saber already knew so we could all eat together now. Azore on the other hand had no idea what was going on and when she asked where Orange was, the table suddenly went silent. Saber looked away pretending to drink and Angie didn't seem in a mood to say anything to Azore so I was the only one left:

"Orange was Astéria all along."

Azore looked at Angie before slowly nodding:

"That makes sense."

And she went back to eating. The three of us just stared at her waiting for more but seeing that it never came I had to ask:

"Are you not surprised at all?"

Azore looked up again and seeing that everyone was waiting for something she shrugged:

"I am.

-You don't look surprised.

-We all have our hobbies."

I didn't expect her to say this at all. I had been eating and almost spit the food out. I tried my best not to choke and Angie immediately handed me a glass of water before wiping my face gently. Her eyes had turned orange and she turned to Azore with a frown. The latter shook her head:

"I should have guessed that you were the same person. You have the same way of looking at her."

I calmed down and thanked Angie ready to go back to my plate but she didn't let go of my face.

"I am fine, Angie. Don't worry."

Saber sighed:

"She is uncontrollable when it comes to you.

-I know. That's why I love her."

Angie immediately blushed and that made me laugh.

"She is a bit overprotective."

Saber quickly nodded:

"That's an understatement. You should know all the things she did for you. I thought I would go crazy.

-I am getting curious now."

Angie was about to kick Saber but hearing me she stopped and sat back. I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable either so I turned to her. I knew that she wasn't ready to tell me everything yet.

"Is that okay? We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.

-Anything you want.

-Are you sure?"

She nodded and I turned back to Saber:

"What did she do?"

Saber still glanced at Angie before relaxing:

"She always has chocolate in her bag because you have random cravings and she wants to be ready in case you want some."

I turned to Angie really touched:

"Really?

-Not just one kind of chocolate but a whole box filled with all the different chocolates you ever liked."

Angie went back to blushing and she focused on her plate, not answering. I grabbed her arm and laid my head on her shoulder:

"You are so..."

I was about to say cute but then I remembered she didn't like being called that so I quickly changed my sentence:

"Attentive and reliable. I love you."

Angie almost choked and it was my turn worrying:

"Are you okay?"

I served her water and held the glass while she was drinking. I completely forgot about the others but once Angie calmed down I noticed that they were staring at us. Azore's food fell out of her mouth while Saber was smirking:

"What?

-Nothing, nothing... Anyway, she read all the books you liked and took notes about them to be able to talk with you about them. She had a mental breakdown when she couldn't find the collection of poems that was only published in 50 copies.

-Which one? The one with an unknown author that my grandma found?

-Exactly that one. And she found it!

-How?

-I have no idea but I never saw someone write so many letters in my life."

I was melting more and more and had to hold back my tears. How could someone be so nice to me? She was so cute! Did I deserve all of this? I always knew that Angie was an amazing person but this was way more than what I thought.

"Tell me more."

Saber continued telling me tens of stories about Angie and it was my first time feeling that loved. I was so moved that I needed to do something for Angie too and I spent the rest of the day thinking about what. As soon as we finished eating, I grabbed Angie's shirt and pulled her into my arms. She immediately froze and started worrying:

"Poehina? Are you okay? What's wrong? Does your stomach hurt?"

I shook my head:

"You are just too nice... I had no idea about all these things that you did. I feel so bad now."

Angie slowly put her arms around my body:

"You deserve way more.

-Stop because I will cry. I am not used to people caring about me this much."

She strengthened her hold around me:

"You should get used to it."

I laughed and wanted that moment to last forever. I felt so good in her arms that I didn't let go of her for long minutes.

"I have an idea!"

I suddenly looked up and having my face that close to Angie's, the latter froze.

"We will go out this weekend."

I had so many ideas that I planned a whole day for Angie during the weekend. For once I woke up before her and went to the kitchen to cook breakfast for her myself. Unfortunately she was already awake when I came back, having woken up when she felt me leave.

"I am sorry, I didn't want to wake you. Here. I made this for you."

I fed Angie. She started blushing but I could see how touched she was. After breakfast we headed to town and spent the whole day together. We went to the restaurant, to the park... I bought soaps for her because Angie really liked soaps and we even bought matching bracelets. We then moved on to the theater and at night we watched fireworks.

"That was so nice! We should do this every weekend."

Angie seemed to really like the idea. Even back home I hadn't calmed down and I was so excited that I started skipping around the room:

"This was the best date I ever had."

Angie's eyes suddenly turned dark:

"Have you ever had dates before?"

I stopped skipping and went to sit down next to her on the bed:

"No. This was my first time."

Angie suddenly blushed and looked away. She pinched her lips and hesitated for a few seconds before saying:

"And was that your first kiss?"
