This wasn't the only time Angie would jump me after hearing me sing. We finally came out of the bathroom and Angie wanted to continue what we had been doing but being already tired I reminded her that we were to meet Saber as soon as possible. This didn't seem to shake her at all and she continued hugging me close, her head buried in my neck:

"We should get Sverre on the throne as soon as possible. The King already started sending assassins to kill us."

Angie answered between two hickeys that she left on my neck:

"No one can get close to us. I put on a barrier."

I tried my best to keep my thoughts clear:

"But that won't make the problem go away. Let's quickly go to Saber and get this over with."

Angie sighed but she couldn't say no to me and she finally stopped sucking on my skin:

"Let's get you dressed up."

She let go of me and left me alone for a few seconds just the time to go choose what she would help me put on:

"What do you want to wear today?"

I shrugged:

"I don't care. Anything is good."

Angie went back to looking through our dressing room and while waiting for her I started looking out the window. The weather was really nice and it made me want to go for a walk. What a beautiful day to dethrone someone.

"I'm happier than ever. Wish I could explain it better..."

I didn't notice that I started singing and didn't have time to finish because the next second my waist got surrounded by two additional arms and I got pushed down on the bed. I opened my mouth to call Angie's name but what I felt next was her tongue around mine:

"Hum!"

Being still naked, I could feel Angie's hands slowly trace down my stomach and I quickly pushed her back by the shoulders:

"Wait! What got into you suddenly?"

When I looked up at her, Angie's eyes were a shining silver and I was definitely seeing that color way more than purple lately. She had a bit of saliva on the side of her mouth and her cheeks were flushed.

"You sang."

I opened my eyes wide. Did she really get into this state just because I sang? Angie was already bending back towards me and seeing her eyes go out of focus made me turn my head away:

"We can't."

Angie stopped bending closer but she just stayed there, staring at me like an abandoned puppy. I took advantage of the situation and crawled out from under her, crawling higher and higher on the bed to get away from her lips:

"We have to go. We will kiss later."

Angie tilted her head slowly:

"Why not now?

-Because we have a King to dethrone.

-We won't be late. I can freeze time now. I worked hard on it to make you happy."

I frowned:

"What the hell are you talking about?"

Angie pointed to a bird outside of the window and the next second it stopped in mid-air.

"See? I can stop time now. Not for very long but it will be more than enough for what I have in mind.

-What do you have in mind?"
