Chapter 84

I had completely forgotten that I was naked at this point and only realized when Angie covered me with a blanket. She left me naked until we met someone but didn't seem to like the idea of someone seeing me naked obviously. Angie carried me to my chair and put me down gently before pulling her chair next to mine and sitting down herself.

My hands were still rather weak but I wasn't going to say anything, ashamed, and did my best to eat without dropping my spoon. But of course Angie noticed and she grabbed my spoon before feeding me herself. I didn't like looking this weak and frowned. But Angie seemed to like me pouting and she pinched my cheek:

"You look like an angry hamster."

I got so surprised by the sudden comparison that I froze. I had no idea how to take this. Knowing Angie it wasn't mean at all but I just couldn't take this as a compliment. What did she mean by an angry hamster? I didn't have time to ask her however because a butler came in to announce someone:

"Lady Saber Murik."

The latter ran in as soon as she heard her name and didn't even wait for the butler to open her the door:

"Finally!"

Angie didn't seem very happy to see Saber and I on the other hand didn't really have the energy to be polite to anyone right now.

"I tried coming yesterday but it seemed you were too busy having sex to see me."

The maids present almost choked hearing this and everyone tried their best not to look at us. Judging by the state I was in, there was no use lying. Everyone could tell that I had been pounded by Angie the last two days. And I didn't want to lie. There was nothing shameful about sex.

"Anyway, how are you Poehina? Are you feeling better?"

I quickly nodded. I was going to say that Angie would never hurt me but this had proven wrong the last few days and I just stared at her with a frown. This made Angie tilt her head and she extended the spoon towards my mouth, thinking that this was what I wanted.

"I am fine. I just need to work out a bit more."

Saber shook her head:

"I wasn't talking about that. It seems you two have completely forgotten because you went on getting laid a second later but Poehina almost got..."

Saber suddenly stopped and looked around her before saying:

"I think we should talk somewhere more private."

The maids immediately understood and they bowed before backing out of the room.

"As I was saying, Poehina almost got poisoned. You should take this way more seriously. The fake maid even had a flask of Pepper White Stickweed. That's the deadliest poison for wizards!"

Angie shrugged:

"That doesn't have any effect on me.

-How can you be so sure? What if it kills you?"

Angie didn't hesitate one second and said:

"I have already been fed it multiple times."

This immediately reminded me of the torture she had been put through in the original work and I thought I would cry. Angie had suffered so much in the past. I imagined her as a child and it made me so emotional that I quickly pulled Angie into my embrace. The latter didn't understand what happened and immediately panicked:

"What's wrong? Do you have an upset stomach? I will get you some lemon juice."

But seeing that I wasn't letting her go and hearing me cry soon after made Angie snap:
