Eric: the most common question I was asked was "how did you meet?"

Eric: how have your classes been love?
Charles: they have gone quite well actually, I'm obviously still getting questioned however I expected that, all the students I teach are nosy as fuck

Charles: I've been doing some more research on my paper about genetic mutations
Eric: that sounds very interesting
Eric: how has that been going?
Charles: it has been going remarkably well, I've almost finished my paper
Eric: how exciting
Charles: it is
Charles: I've been thinking about publishing it but I don't know if I should or not
Eric: I think you should
Charles: really?
Eric: yes, you've been working so hard on it. You deserve to have you hard work recognised.
Charles: thank you Eric
Charles: but that means I have to go to this ceremony thing
Eric: what is it?
Charles: it's basically to celebrate the publishing of a professor's paper, it's very formal and a lot of other scientists come. But that means I have to mingle with people who will be getting drunk
Eric: can you bring guests?
Charles: yes, I can invite as many people as I want as it's a celebration for me
Eric: well then I'm coming
Charles: you'd come?
Eric: of course
Charles: thank you Eric
Eric: it's not a problem liebling
