His Confession

The driver in front of her groaned in pain and she saw there were smoke around her car and it was clear that sooner or later the car was going to explode, and then it all happened within seconds and before she could make sense of the situation she was already in someone's arms but the cologne was too familiar. 

She shouldn't feel safe but it was ironic how she felt safer in his arms even knowing that he was just playing with her feelings, using her and even wanted to kill her but she couldn't open her mouth to point out any accusation because she again let herself down thinking she could make him love her. 

Shaman held her in his arms and looked over her body for any injuries before crushing her in his arms, he had just gotten off the plane when he wanted to check the surveillance and found nothing, he quickly tracked her although it was still wrong to put a tracking chip in her body, he still did it and that helped him today. He was supposed to return tomorrow but finished early and took the first plane back, feeling her shivering in his arms, he kissed her forehead before asking "Are you ok? 

Abel was still shivering and didn't respond to him, he carried her to his car and sat inside making her sit on his lap, he was rubbing her palm and foot to soothe her but she was not responding and he was scared of the thought that she might be getting a shock so he started speaking comforting words and he got a reaction.

She was sobbing, shedding fat tears in his arms, he knew this was all because he couldn't protect her, he was wiping her tears but it was flowing endlessly. He pleaded, "Baby, stop crying, i am sorry, i wasn't there to protect you but everything is fine now and I promise I will make that fucker suffer his death in a very cruel way but please stop crying, I am here".

Hearing the words, Abel couldn't control her emotions, he was sounding so genuine that she couldn't help but break all her walls, she was now straddling him while hugging his neck, she cried, "Why always bad things happen to me, i have never harmed anyone so why? I have long accepted that no one would ever love me but why would anyone hate me? Am I that despacable? 

Shaman's heart broke in million pieces hearing her words, he knew in their marriage, he never cared for her like a husband should, never loved her or paid any attention because of his plans but now seeing her like this his chest hurt, he was feeling all sorts of emotions for her that he couldn't help but confess, "I love you baby, in fact i had always loved you but never showed it". 

She leaned backward to look at his face and could only see genuine concern and affection spilling from his eyes, this was the look she had longed her whole life in the past and the present but never got. Seeing her blank look he continued, "I know, I have done various wrongs by you, never been the husband you deserve but believe me when I say this baby that in my whole thirty years of life, I have never loved anyone apart from you and will never love any other woman except for you".
