(scene opens to Everest, Marshall, and Rubble helping Farmer Al and Yumi prepare for the upcoming corn roast/popcorn festival)
Farmer Al: Thanks pups for helping us out!
Marshall: We're happy to lend a paw, Farmer's Al and Yumi!
Four voices: (screams)
Everest: (surprised) What was that?
(Venus, Hex, Spectra, and Eclipse suddenly rush out of the corn field while heavily panting)
Everest: (surprised) Girls, what are you doing here?
Hex: We took a wrong turn alongside Mason! We got a little spooked by those pup scarecrows in the cornfield when we tried walking through it!
Rubble: Hold on what's with the screaming?
Venus: (embarrassed) We kinda got spooked by those pup scarecrows!
Other genie pups: (embarrassingly nods)
Farmer Al: (confused) Pup scarecrows?
Spectra: Aren't they yours?
Farmer Yumi: (shakes head) We don't have any pup scarecrows!
Marshall: Hold on, if you two didn't put them there... then who did?
Everest: Maybe someone did it for a prank?
Rubble: (worried) Or maybe it was a ghost!
Everest: (realizes) You girls mentioned Mason, right?
Venus: Of course he's right behind us! (looks back) (surprised) Where'd he go?
Hex: Mom, maybe he decided to stay behind to check out those pup scarecrows!
Farmer Al: Mind showing us where they are girls?
Genie Pups (nods) Sure! We wanna check to make sure Mason's okay too!
Everest: How many are there?
Hex: (counts with her toes) I think four we noticed!
Venus: (nods) About four hanging in the cornfield!
(scene flips to Mason calmly standing beside one of the pup scarecrows)
Mason: Hm? Are you really a pup scarecrow or are you something called a scarecrow pup? (looks closer to find eyelashes) Eyelashes?
Mason: Well can't think on an empty stomach! (pulls a scorpion pepper out of his satchel) This'll do!
Marshall's voice: Mason, are you in here?
Mason: (looks away) Over here buddy! (has the scorpion pepper near the pup scarecrows mouth)
Pup scarecrow: (blinks) (quietly sniffs the scorpion pepper) (licks lips)
Sound: (chomping followed by a gulp)
Mason: What was that? (looks over to find his scorpion pepper was almost all eaten) (surprised) Hey, who ate my scorpion pepper?
(the group walks over finding Mason)
Everest: Mason we found you!
Mason: Hi guys!
Marshall: (notices the piece of scorpion pepper) Mason, did you just eat a scorpion pepper!?
Mason: While I looked away someone else ate it before I could try!
Rubble: Wait, someone ate your snack!?
Everest: How is that possible?
Mason: Well whoever ate it just had something spicy!
Sound: (panting)
