In the evening, Jade took Tokaku to Diasomnia as he had promised Lilia. They had obtained permission from Azul to take the evening shift off through a phone call since they were outside their dorm due to their Pharmacy class. As they walked along the pathway, Jade couldn't help but steal glances at Tokaku, who was fully focused on her steps. Sporting a smile on his face, he reached out and gently held her hand, entwining their fingers and intertwining their small fingers together. This unexpected gesture caught Tokaku off guard, causing her eyes to widen in surprise. She quickly reminded Jade that they were outside.

"Jade, we're in public," she warned.

Jade simply grinned and pointed out the lack of people around them. He asked Tokaku if she had noticed anyone else walking on the pathway they had chosen. Sniffing the air, Tokaku detected no scent of people nearby or any signs of others walking down the same path. She shook her head in response to Jade's question.

Therefore, there is nothing to worry about," the young merman reassured. "If any student were to see us holding hands because we are dating, I will make sure to find them even in the depths and silence them permanently," he continued.

"When you do, can I do it together with you?" the assassin girl asked. She will doubly ensure the witnesses keep quiet with her terrifying assassination skills.

"I would love for you to join me. The more, the scarier the witnesses are, as the two of us are masters at sending shivers down people's spines," Jade agreed, delighted to have his girlfriend share the same mischievous scheme as him.

The couple proceeded to walk down the pathway until they reached the Mirror Hall. They approached a dimensional mirror to Diasomnia, stepping through it, and in the blink of an eye, they emerged from the mirror, finding themselves in front of the Diasomnia dormitory. They released their intertwined hands and Jade stepped forward to the large wooden door, grasping the iron doorknob and knocking loudly. After a moment, the door opened, revealing a Diasomnia student who looked at the Octavinelle vice house warden and the girl.

"Greetings, do you have any business at Diasomnia?" the Diasomnia student asked.

Jade nodded. "Yes. Lilia was expecting us to meet him, so we came here as promised," he explained.

"Oh, Vice House Warden Lilia. Alright, I'll let you in and escort you to him," the student granted permission, gesturing for the couple to enter.

He led them to the lounge where Lilia was sitting on a leather sofa. The student informed the vice house warden of Diasomnia about Jade and Tokaku wanting to meet him, as they had promised Lilia. Lilia responded by stating that he was expecting them and the student nodded in understanding before leaving the couple with Lilia.

"Well well, I see that you brought your female resident here, Jade. You're excellent at keeping your promise as you do." Lilia said, welcoming even praising Jade.

" It is an essential manner for me since I am Octavinelle vice house warden. " Jade reassured.

Lilia's attention shifted to Tokaku, causing her to blink her striking blue eyes and part her lips in a momentary surprise. His gaze fixated on three luminous orbs residing within her heart, seemingly visible to his pair of deep crimson eyes. As a fae, he possessed a special ability shared by others of his kind: the power to perceive magic and supernatural energy. Upon witnessing the presence of these three lights within her heart, the bat fae speculated that they provided protection, ensuring her overall well-being. Throughout his lengthy existence, he had never before encountered a human body containing such mesmerizing lights, not for centuries. Additionally, he detected that these three lights were souls, drawing the conclusion that they likely belonged to deceased relatives who shared a profound connection with Tokaku. Evidently, these three souls served as guardians, shielding her from any harm or danger. Lilia couldn't help but hypothesize that this young lady possessed a truly unique nature. He then asked Tokaku.
