~The Beginning of Life~

~ Chapter 12 ; Info ~

We sit in a circle in the centre of the cabin. Travis sits next to me and Connor sits opposite, on the other side. He doesn't say hello. I glance outside for a second. The sun was nearly setting. When I look back, I see everyone staring at me.
"What?"

"It's your turn," whispers the other person who was sitting next to me; the orange haired boy in Will and Nico's group.
Wait, so everyone's done?

"Would you like a recap?" Turner (from Percabeth's group) asks helpfully. Without waiting for a reply, he nods at the others and they say their names, one by one.

I can barely keep up; there's Irina, a girl with black and purple hair with red eyes (from the Percabeth group); Asuka (from Caleo's group) with brown hair and the light purple eyes; Melissa (under Tyson and Ella) with Ash (Ash isn't here), who has dyed purple hair and blue eyes; Alexandra (under Caleo), with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hair is 'yellower' than mine, more of a golden shade. Her other group mate is Clara, a brown haired girl with green-brown eyes. Wait- did they just change color? Next to her is Anna (from Percabeth), a young kid with curly brown hair and hazel eyes.
Then the girl Leo had winked at. Emily (Under Will and Nico) with blonde hair and blue eyes; then Hope, one of the girls in my group with short brown hair and golden eyes.

The four boys had sat together; the tough looking guy was Gabe (under Tyson and Ella), with brown hair and green eyes. Then Joey (Under Will and Nico), a ruder looking guy with dark hair and eyes. Turner, a guy with black hair and green eyes however, looked much kinder. The boy next to me was last. Walton, the guy with orange hair and deep blue eyes.

"I'm Khristine," I say, attempting a small smile, but I only manage a blank expression.

Walton smiles a bit sadly at me.

"Nice to meet you, Khristine. Nice to meet all of you!" Says Travis.

"Hey, which order did we arrive in?" Emily suddenly asks. "That will indicate our ages, right?"

Joey narrows his eyes suspiciously at her while a few others glance at Travis curiously.

"Ahh... I don't remember but Chiron wrote it down in case it were important. We couldn't find a pattern though..." Frowning, he reaches into his pockets and brings out a piece of paper from his pocket.
"Oh, it's right here. We didn't know your names, so I just have your descriptions... So... first was Anna, on the night of the 7th... then Ash on the 13th. Along with her came Irina and Clara. The next day came Asuka, Hope, Emily, Walton and Turner. Then Alexandra and Gabe."

So that was the 15th... But aren't I 14?

"16th; Melissa and Haleigh. And then Joey on the 17th. And today, the 18th, Khristine came."

"Wait, I'm eighteen?"

"I guess... everyone else's ages match..." he sounds slightly sad.
Why? Is it because I'm older than him by a year? Why would- wait... Nico would be 15... So... Ugh why do I care!? Oh, right he's my fictional crush. I mean, true love. Ah well.
Oh I missed that detail? Yeah I prefer not thinking about seeing how it's so hopeless.

Suddenly, Nico of all people runs in. "Travis, we found another! A guy of around eighteen, he said he passed out in the forest and woke up in the same time as them," he says quickly.

"What!?" Travis exclaims. "But... shouldn't there be fifteen? Fifteen is a nice number... Why'd it be sixteen?"

"Maybe someone doesn't belong..." Nico glares at me.

I scowl at him, slightly unhurt. Or something.
