"it was appendicitis" she comforts "I'm okay now, it was a small surgery" her chin rests on the head "I saw you collapse" he whimpers "Caitlin I never want to see you in pain like that again" she looks into his eyes as they're bright with tears "you won't" she leans in and kisses him "I'm better than ever and I'm not going anywhere" she says after he kisses back "but I will if you don't wrap your hands around me and keep me warm" she starts teasing "it is the middle of winter after all" she says with a serious look, then grabbing his hand and wrapping it around her. "You just got your stitches out" he starts "as much as I'd love to, I don't want to hurt you" he says and pulls his hand back "you won't hurt me" she looks more at his shoulders because of how she's positioned. He wraps his arm back around her "oww" she says hiding her facial expression but starts giggling "that's not funny Cait" he says in a jokingly annoyed tone "I just wanted to see you laugh" she says as a smile creeps up on his face, her head on his chest, no sooner asleep again...
