Ok, so I've written in the genre of non-fiction many times now, and there was a time where my books made it to the number one space. However I now tend to write more in Random, but I still like to check up on the Non-fiction page of Wattpad. And it pains me.
Why are there fiction books in the Non-Fiction genre? What is happening there?! And why are there books that should clearly be in the Random genre in the Non-Fiction genre. I think the reason this really annoys me is that Wattpad (like the actual Wattpad account) moved my book 'Types Of People On Wattpad' out of Non-Fiction and into Random because of 'Wattpad guidelines' and yet they don't move all this fiction! If you're gonna move one book, you've got to move all the ones that shouldn't be in that genre.
It's annoying as well because it means genuine Non-Fiction doesn't get the recognition it deserves as its buried under a load of bio books. Smh, what next? Science Fiction in the Spiritual section? Horror in ChickLit?
