Human Rights

This rant could be thousands of words long, so I'll make it short.

Why is it considered 'radical' to believe that everyone should have equal human rights? Why are people considered 'argumentative' and 'overly-left' to want everyone to have access to all their basic human rights?

Article One: Right To Equality
Article Two: Freedom from discrimination
Article Twelve: Freedom from interference with privacy, family, home and correspondence
Article Eighteen: Freedom of belief and religion
Article Twenty-Six: Right to education

These are just a selection of the basic human rights every person is supposed to have. Millions across the world do not have access to all their basic human rights. I don't understand why it is considered 'revolutionary' in some parts of the world to expect these rights.

We are in the 21st century, and people are still fighting to obtain their basic human rights. I thought we'd all be cyborgs by now, but some people seem to be still living in the 19th century.
