Oakley's POV

Jack began singing with the guitar he pulled out from behind a tree. He sings ' The Gift of a Friend' By Demi Lovato. We used to sing it together all the time when we were little. It was our song.

Sometimes you think you'll be fine by yourself

'Cause a dream is a wish you make all alone

Its easy to feel like you don't need help

But its harder to walk on your own

You'll change

Inside

When you

Realize

The world comes to life

And everything's bright

From beginning to end

When you have a friend

By your side

That helps you to find beauty of all

When you'll open your heart and

Believe in

I begin to sing with him.

The gift  of a friend

The gift of a friend

Jonah, Zach, Daniel, and Corbyn pop out from behind trees and star singing with him.

Someone who knows when your lost and your scared

There through the highs and the lows

Someone you can count on, someone who cares

Besides you where ever you go

You'll change inside

When you

Realize

The world comes to life

And everything's bright

From beginning to end

When you have a friend

By your side

That helps you to find

The beauty of all

When you'll open your heart and

Believe in

The gift of a friend

And when your hope crashes down

Shattering to the ground

You'll, you'll feel all alone

When you don't know which way to go

And there's no signs leading you home

You're not alone

The world comes to life

And everything's bright

From beginning to end

When you have a friend

By your side

That helps you to find

The beauty of all

When you'll open your heart and

Believe in

When you believe in

You can believe in

The song finished and we all were singing and dancing and goofing off.

"Jack, I gotta go home in two days. I don't know what I'm gonna do without you all." I say.

"I know my little oak tree, you'll be fine. Just like last time we were apart. It won't be forever." He says knowing that I'm about to cry.

He always called me his 'little oak tree' because the first time we met in kindergarten he walked up to me and said that I was an oak tree because of my name. I began to cry because he didn't know what I went through when he left the first time, but now, its me leaving him even though I don't wanna go back home. This feels like home. I have friends here, a boyfriend, and people who care about me. Back home all I got is Jack's family.

"You don't understand." I said under my breathe to where only I could hear it.

"What did you say?" Zach asked me.

"Nothing, don't worry about it." I said.

"Oakley Mae Nickole Reyes!" Jack looks at me sternly. "What did you say?"

"All I said was that you wouldn't and don't understand." I said back.

"Guys, can you give us some same to talk?" Jack asked all four boys and they all walked inside.

Zach looked back at me and kept looking at me, I knew he was worried about me but I can't tell him what happened, I don't even wanna tell Jack, but now I have too because best friends don't hide anything from each other.

"Jack, I'm sorry. I'll go back home so you don't have to deal with me anymore. I just want to go to bed, its getting late." I said.

"You're not going anywhere tomorrow or tonight. What you are gonna do is tell me what happened when I left to come live in LA." Jack said.
