Chapter 37

Oakley's POV:

Zach and I just got back from the drugstore and on the way there I decided that I should write notes to the people I love for them to read when I die.

We arrived home and I went straight to my room and grabbed a notebook and a pen. I sat on my floor and leaned my back against my wall. I began writing I started with Jonah. I was gonna start with Jack or Zach but, I didn't know where to begin.

Jonah-
Thank you for always being there for me when you didn't have to be. Just live your life to the fullest and make me the proudest person in heaven. Don't ever stop living your dream. Dream big superstar. Don't forget I love you. ❤

You're my best friend Jack Avery. Don't ever forget me. I'm sorry for leaving you. If it would be my choice, I would never leave you. I still remember the first day of kindergarten; you said that I was an oak tree because of my name. Thank yoku for protecting me whenever my dad and brother died. I will forever love you for that. I don't even know where to began. I love you sooooo much. I can't even began to express it. I'm gonna miss you. I'm trying not to cry writing all these notes to everyone but, it's hard. Yours is especially. I don't know what to write because there is so much and so little space.

You're the first person I ever loved. You're the last person I will ever love. I'll love you forever. I want you to know that. I'll think about you everyday. I'll watch over you to make sure you're doing okay. I want you to find someone else that make you happy. I want you to get married and start a family. I want you to do everything that we were gonna do, but with someone else.

Take care of everyone, Jonah, Jack, Corbyn, and Daniel. If something happens to Clara's dad and she can't go back to my mom, I want you to take care of her. You were good to her when she came to Texas.

I was now sat in my room, crying over all these notes. I folded the in three parts and taped them shut. I slid them in my top dresser drawer.

I dried my eyes and walked downstairs. I seen all the boys sitting in the living room watching some cartoon that was o n the tv. They always were watching cartoons.

I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge. I took a drink and got the idea to prank the boys.

I searched around the drawers of the island and found a pack of balloons. I took one out and filled it up with water in the sink. I tied it shut and walked and walked back into the living room with it behind my back. Daniel, Corbyn, and Zach were all sitting on the couch. They were my target. I lifted the bag from behind me and moved it in front of me. I launched at Daniel who was sitting in the middle and it splattered all over Corbyn and Zach too. Daniel was the most wet.

He chased me through the house and to the back yard. I tried to climb up to the tree house but Daniel caught up to me and grabbed me. He layed my on the ground and started tickling me. I hated being tickled and he knew that. I started laughing and all the guys were surrounding Daniel and I, videoing us.

After about five minutes of Daniel tickling me, he stood up and layed his hand out for me to grab. I grabbed it and he pulled me off the ground.

"You're gonna get payback for that." Daniel laughed.
