Jungkook's POV

We've just finished finished our concert, and here I am in the convenience store buying a beer

I put some snacks and some chocolates into the basket and opened the fridge and grabbed a 7 cans of beer

I closed the fridge and went towards the cashier and after she calculated the price. I payed her

When I was about to walk outside. I suddenly bumped on a girl and she fell

The mask she was wearing fell on the ground and she covered her face

"Oh my god! Is that park chaeyoung?! Oh my gosh!" Some of the youngsters giggling

"It maybe is!" A guy shouted and they all ran towards us

I don't know why? But there was something in me that wants to protect her... treasure her

I quickly hold her hand and pulled her up and hugged her

"Sorry guys, you must be mistaken." I changed my voice a little and they all left with a long face

"Are you okay?" I asked her and nodded a little "Thanks for saving me." She said and I just noticed that there was a wound on her knee

I quickly bent down and brushed away the dirt
"We need to disinfect that." I said before grabbing her hand

I bought an ointment and bandaid. We're now at a diner on the sidewalk

After covering her wounds I stand up and sat on the chair

"I'm jeon jungkook." I said and she nodded a little. I just noticed that her cheeks were really chubby

So cute.

"I'm-- sorry I need to go now." She said and grabbed her handbag "Thanks for earlier anyways" She said before leaving

This was the first time I saw her, other than from tv shows, but... Why do I love her already?

I rose out my seat and paid the bills. I walked to our dorm

Chaeyoung's POV

He was a stranger. Yet, why do I feel safe with him?

Why do I feel secured when he's by my side? What is happening?

I snapped out of my thoughts when I felt someone nudging my shoulder and it was... lisa

"What is it lisa?" I asked her "You've been out ever since you arrived. What happened?" She asked. Curiosity was written all over her face

"I met a singer a while ago. But, even though it was our first time meeting each other. I felt a... connection." I said and she gave me a teasing face

"Who's that guy? Don't tell me it's jeon jungkook." She was actually teasing me about that guy ever since when he confessed on the national tv about his type

"Okay. It was him." I said and she stand up and started dancing

"Yah. Stop it lisa-yah." I said and she sang out "My ship is sailing! My ship is sailing!" She sang her lungs out and I chuckled

"Pabo-yah." I said and she sat down "So what happened?" She asked and I sighed

"I was recognized by the fans. Luckily, he was the--" She cut me off by narrating

"And her 'Knight in shining armo--'" I cut her off by saying

"He wasn't wearing an armour. He was wearing timberlands all over." I said and she stopped

"Her 'Knight in shining Timberlands." She narrated and I couldn't help but laugh a little

"Pabo-yah." I laughed at her and so did she. She laughed at her own joke

Almost everytime. We kept on bumping on each other, and coincidentally meet on some place

We're still strangers. Of course, cause we don't really hang-out, but until...

"I like you, park chaeyoung. Will you go out with me?" He asked out of a blue and I looked at him

"I like you too, jeon jungkook. But, I have my dating ban, so I can't date you." I said before leaving the café

Jungkook's POV

That was the first time. The first time I got rejected by a girl

I stared at her fading figure and stared back at the mug

I was still a stranger to her. Yet, i asked her out. How foolish of me...

I rose up my seat and walked outside the café. I then walked to some parks, and saw taehyung hyung having fun with some kids

I turned away and continued walking to wherever my feet takes me

She has her dating ban, and i have mine too. It is really impossible

Chaeyoung's POV

Today is the awarding. Jisoo unnie got sick, so I was assigned to be the MC instead

I realized just weeks ago that I love him. I'm in love with a 'perfect stranger'

"And the winner is... BTS." Us three emcees shouted and all clapped for their win

They all went upstage and I caught Jungkook stealing glances at me

After his hyung's speech. It was his turn. Before he could get close to the mic. He smiled sweetly at me that made my heart melt

"I wouldn't have done this without my inspiration." He said pausing

"Do some of you want to know who's my inspiration?" He asked the crowds and they all cheered 'Yes'

"My inspiration is... a chipmunk." He said to the crowds and they all mouthed 'huh.'

"A really cute chipmunk. A chipmunk that has a very beautiful voice. And she is here right now." He said and looked at me

All the audience turned to look at me and I raised an eyebrow at him

"Park Chaeyoung. She's my inspiration. The love of my life." He said and I felt my heart skip a beat

My blood rushed to my cheeks, making it pink, and I looked at him and smile

"The first time we met was unexpected. The first time I saw her... I already fell for her. I wonder why?" He said pausing

"Because even if she was a stranger then. She was my perfect stranger." He said before looking at me and all the audience cheered

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" The audiences cheered and jungkook pulled me into an embrace

My eyes went wide and I looked at him, signalling him to let go

But the truth is I don't care anymore. I love him so much now. I don't care about anything anymore. All I care about is this time. This atmosphere

Him. All I cared for. He slowly leaned close to me and I closed my eyes and i felt a soft thing on my lips, and i know that it was his lips on mine

It was a soft, gentle kiss that I will treasure my whole life

After pulling away. Then, I just realized that there were people watching us...

Like hundreds... or even thousands of them. Talk about the cameras

The fans cheered and we smiled at each other before pulling away

We were strangers, but were the perfect kind. Well, at least for each other
