Ok before you start reading, I'd just like to point out this was my first ever fanfic which I wrote years ago, it was rushed and completely not up to my standards that I have now but it somehow became popular.

Take my advice as the author, after years of watching this pile of sh*t of a fic gain popularity, please do not read this book, it is complete garbage and I'd rather you read my other Zelink book 'How A Princess Fights' because I actually put effort into that work. This fic is like a stick figure and that other book is like my masterpiece but somehow people would rather admire the stick figure.

So yeh, basically, I disown this fic, I hate it, please don't praise it >:( my other works are far better in terms of story, writing and style. In short, read this fic at your own risk. I published this story years back and I'm just adding this authors note now because I'm sick and tired of comments that praise this burning pile of crap.

😠😐😑😞 That being said, if you insist on reading, there's nothing I can do to stop you, so enjoy I suppose...

Zelda proped herself up into a siting position to soothe her rapid breathing while she tried desperately to remember every last detail of her vision.

Her legs were carrying her faster than she ever thought possible. Her arms were stretched infront of her face as if she was reaching out for something or someone. The forest seemed so vast.

Her breathing had slowed when the dream seemed to slip away. Zelda was left in her room, in the dark. She tried to lay back and get comfortable enough to sleep for the next few hours untill she was due to start her royal day. Zelda rolled her eyes.

"Of course... I have to meet HIM tomorrow..." she sighed as her eyes dropped back into her troubled sleep.

By HIM, she meant the supposed Knight who her father was assigning as her personal bodyguard. That was the last thing she needed... Someone who would watch her round the clock... Someone who could see her fail as the protector of Hyrule on a daily basis...

Her maid woke her up at dawn. She patted her on the arm.

"Was it the same dream Princess? What was it about?" She mused, observing the scrunched up covers.

"It's complicated Impa..."
