Niall POV 

“Holy shower of cunt’s we have arrived” I am freaking out as we have now taken our place out the back along with all the other school’s groups practising and we are sitting here looking like possums in the headlights. I can’t believe I am singing Zayn’s part I mean his voice is so original so perfect and mine is like an immature little boys. “You have an amazing voice Nialler” Liam game up behind me and gave me a hug. “Li what people will think we’re gay” “Well we are aren’t we?” “Of course but are you sure that won’t affect what people think of us?”

“I don’t care as long as I have my little food loving leprechaun” “Oh I love you Li” “Love you too” “Alright pull your heads in Niam seriously let’s have a run through” Harry was taking charge. We ran through both our songs and were satisfied with the result. “See Nialls you sounded great” Lou gave me a quick hug. “I haven’t hugged you in ages Ni” “that’s because you are permanently attached to Harry’s waist” “Nooo” “Uh ya” Liam interrupted. “Yeah true but Harry is so irresistible” Harry looked satisfied and did a little pose. “Poser Haz” Lou poked his tummy. “Hey” Lou got up and started running around with Harry in chase. “Harry Lou get your asses back here!” Liam yelled.

They wouldn’t stop running and it was annoying people. “Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson get back here” Zayn just sat there looking upset. “Oh Zaynie it’s alright, I am soo sorry for singing your solo” he just croaked, “You will do it perfectly I couldn’t have asked for someone better” I handed him his strepsils and he just smiled. “Sorry Zayn” “all good” he husked. Finally Louis and Harry made their way back over to the group huffing and puffing. “Great now you’re voices will sound shit” “Will not” Louis huffed.

Zayn POV

My throat honestly was killing me this morning but I was fine yesterday! Hmmph of well Niall will do a great job with the solo I know. The principal made the way over, Mr Calis announced. “Boys you will on fifth so they are just introducing the first group now are you ready?” “Ready as we will ever be” Liam smiled. “Hope you are ok zayn just lip sync” I looked up “Thanks Mr Calis, You’re welcome if you need any meds just come find me I will be sitting in the audience. Good luck boys” “Thanks” we all chorused. I am nervous and I’m not even singing oh dear…

Louis POV

“Hey guys who should announce Liam?” I looked at him. “Yeah I guess I can” we all sat there making small talk I was soo nervous and harry was stroking my hand. When he is touching me it sounds cliché but he makes me feel safe. I am planning to sit next to him when we sing, we are all just sitting on chairs in a half circle a very boring set but you can’t do anything extravagant as I would have liked as I have always been described as Flamboyant but hey you get Louis you get everything that comes with my package. “umm Boo you’re talking out loud” “No I’m not” “Uh yes you are HuhA! I am not the only person who talks aloud” I laughed. I remember the first time he saw me he was saying what he thought about me out loud.

“One Direction you are up next please come stand behind the curtain” I stared shaking and I don’t even have a big solo I am only really singing with Niall but I can tell he is freaking out as Liam has him in a hug and is whispering into his ear. “You’ll be great nialler” Harry patted his shoulder. “Boo you will be amazing don’t forget I am here along with all the boys” We all just stood there in silence. “on you go boys” I headed out next to Harry looking up at the audience and the 4 judges sitting out the front. We took our seats so the order is

“Hello boys you are from Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School?” the first lady judge said. “Yes well Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and I are” Liam pointed to harry and zayn “Here we have Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson are exchange students from Hall Cross” “thank you and what are you performing and do you have a group name?” “That we do we are One Direction and we are performing two songs we wrote as a group named What Makes You Beautiful and One Thing” Liam was so confident I don’t know how he does it. “Well good luck boys you may begin when you are ready” We looked at each other and smiled. Niall started strumming the tune to what makes you beautiful.
