Third person POV

"Hi!" Lydia said cheerfully

Ian jumped in surprise," Oh, um—hello."

"I'm Lydia. You're Ian right?" Lydia asked with a flirty eyebrow

"Yeah." Ian smiled," Did you need something?"

"I'm a banshee, Ian." Lydia whispered

"Oh you're that Lydia." Ian said, eyes wide

Lydia looked at him with a suspicious glare, crossing her arms," What do you mean that Lydia?"

Ian shook his head quickly," No! No! I didn't mean it in a rude way. It's just, Scott and Stiles talk highly of you. I guess they forgot to mention you were a banshee."

So this is the Lydia Martin. She looks pretty. Ian thought to himself

"I wouldn't expect any less," Lydia said proudly," So, I wanted to ask you something."

"O-okay."

"Can you teach me? What you know, I mean."

"What do yo-" Ian said before he realized what Lydia was talking about. His mouth opened into and 'O'

"Oh—that."

"Yeah, Stiles told us that your scream saved his life, where'd you learn that?"

"Um...practice."

"Practice? Like on your own, or someone helped you master it."

"I Uh-" Ian was interrupted as Stiles came up to him, hugging him from behind

Ian sighed in relief at Stiles' timing. He didn't really know why, but Lydia made him nervous. It felt like she could see right through him. That she could see through what he was saying

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Stiles asked as Ian turned around, hoping Lydia would get the message and leave

"Hello to you too, Stiles." Lydia said sarcastically

"Hey Lydia, what are you guys talking about?"

Lydia and Ian looked at each-other before smiling

"Banshee." They said together

Stiles gave a tight smile, nodding once. "Ah. Are you Uh, gonna help her?" Stiles directed his question to Ian

"Yes, he is." Lydia answered for him, smiling," I'll catch you after school, okay?"

"Um okay." Ian chuckled nervously

Lydia walked off as Ian lightly put his head on his locker. School hadn't even started and he already felt his anxiety starting to creep in

The bell rang as Stiles turned to Ian," Is she forcing you?" His eyebrows lifted a bit with a soft smile.

"Even if she is, I'm not going to refuse. She's stronger than me, but definitely more scary than I am." Ian said, smiling as well.

Stiles huffed, pulling Ian into a hug. Things felt...different. A good different between them. The things they had—that they'll do again...Stiles won't forget. He sighed to himself in delight as he lightly pressed a kiss to Ian's forehead

"Alright I can be there while you help her if you want."

"Yes, yes please. I don't want her to accidentally blow her own head off."

After School (Lydia's house)

"Alright, so." Lydia clapped her hands excitedly. They had taken forever to get there because Stiles didn't eat lunch. Lydia wanted to scold him, but Ian gave her pleading eyes because he wanted to pass by a place to eat
