"I thought you said this wasn't about revenge." Jhade looked at her brothers profile while he drove. "It's not." He shrugged. "That's exactly what it feels like Ja'Quan." She shook her head. "You wanna help me or not?" He grew irritated. "Of course I want to. But, revenge never solves a thing." Jhade tried reasoning.

"Look, Jhade, ion wanna hear none of that shit. You said you'd help me...help and be quiet." Quan finally shut his little sister up once and for all. The constant nagging him and telling him what he already knew was starting to frustrate him.

"You remember what you need to do, right?" He questioned after turning off the car; parking in no exact location. "I can't." Jhade shook her head; not able to do what she thought she could. "You promised." Quan mugged. "And you said this isn't about revenge, yet that's what it feels like."

Quan groaned, running his hands down his face. He was awfully tired and exhausted but couldn't find it to put his head to a pillow and sleep. After growing annoyed of Jhade's constant questions; he finally told her everything. She was surprised to hear that Destiny wasn't as clueless as she presumed to be.

"I think you should just go to the police." Jhade stated, looking out the window. Quan chuckled, "I go to the cops and my freedom gets taken away too." He reminded her. Not having a good track history with the police meant that he was probably still on their radar. "So, what now?" Jhade asked.

"I'm not wasting no more time. I'm handling this shit tonight. I don't care if you help me or not." He told her truthfully. Jhade swallowed what felt like a lump in her throat. "You can't hurt her." Her voice spoke. "She has a family, a son." Jhade added.

Quan scoffed, "I had a family too! As much as Blair and I bumped heads; we was still a family. Destiny and her bitch ass boyfriend took that shit from me." He said, looking straight ahead; trying his best not to let flashbacks of that day trigger him.

Jhade sighed. This whole thing was unnecessary. If Quan didn't show up at the baby shower— shooting Kross, then none of this would be happening. "Two wrongs don't make a right." Jhade voiced. "And killing people I love don't fly." He responded.

At that point; Jhade knew there was nothing she could say nor do to change her brothers stubborn ways. "I-I'm pregnant." She blurted, causing Quan to freeze. "What you just say?" He looked at her like a mad man on the verge of snapping. "I'm pregnant...with Darnell's baby." She said.

"Jhade Celine Smith, you let a bum ass nigga get you pregnant?" He questioned with enough base in his voice to frighten her. "You can't do this. Darnell wouldn't be able to come back from this. We have a future together. I-I love him." She stated.

Quan chuckled once again; this time shaking his head as his eyes stared out the window. "Tell you what I'll do." He spoke after moments of silence, "I'll give you 72 hours to abort that shit. After it's done, ima do what I need to do." He told her, not caring how big of thing he was basically demanding her to do.

"I'm not aborting shit!" Jhade shouted, disgusted that he would even say such a thing. "Watch yo fucking mouth!" He yanked her by her sweater— inches away from her face. She pulled away from him, removing her body from the car. "Ay, get back in the car! I-I'm sorry! I ain't mean to grab you like that." He said, following his sister out the car.

Tears filled Jhade's eyes as she walked down the street; ignoring her brothers loud yelling behind her. Deciding to let the situation defuse on it's own, Quan hopped back into the car, pulling off. By time Jhade turned around to look back; the black car was nowhere in sight.

She scoffed, continuing her journey down the side of the road. After what seemed like 45 minutes of walking— she stood outside the tall building, contemplating on whether or not to walk in. Their mom always taught them to stick together because family is all you have. However, she knew there was no getting through to Quan.

He wasn't going to stop until there were casualties— Jhade couldn't stomach the guilt of playing a role in the awful plan to come. Taking a deep breath, she pulled the heavy door open; walking inside. She approached the front desk, being greeted by the Caucasian man in a full suit of uniform.

"Ma'am, is there something I can help you with?" The man asked, taking a moment to read her body language. It seemed as if she didn't want to be here, but had no other resolution. "Yes. I have some information about someone you guys have been tracking for a long time." She told him.

"And whom might that be, ma'am?" The Caucasian man questioned, both curious and intrigued. "Ja'Quan Smith; better known as Q." She informed the officer— who immediately thought it was a bluff. He was familiar with the name because for two years, Atlanta PD has been on the hunt for the infamous "Q". They came up unlucky each time they got a lead or tip.

"Ma'am, I don't want to sound rude or anything, but how can you— an 18 maybe 19 year old girl, possibly know anything about one of the most dangerous men on the police's wanted list?" Jhade's nails dug into the palm of her hand hearing the word wanted. She had no awareness of her brother being wanted; at least not until now.

"Hello?" The officer waved his hands in the air, catching her attention. "Because he's my brother." Jhade disclosed, shocking the officer. "What's your name?" He asked; pulling out a pen and notepad. "Jhade... Jhade Smith." She stated, looking around the precinct. "Ms. Smith, it says here in the system that your brother is deceased. Six-months ago from a home invasion gone wrong." The officer notified.

Once again, he believed the young woman to be bluffing. "He's very much alive, ok. I was just with him. Listen to me; he's planning to kill my boyfriends sister and boyfriend. He kidnapped a woman. I don't know her name, b-but I know where she's being kept." Jhade told the officer.

At this point, whether it were a bluff or not; her statement needed to be taken down. Not wasting more time, officer Reyes notified his chief of what the young woman had shared with him. Jhade wasn't sure what was to happen after this, nonetheless; she figured it would end better than what Quan has planned.
