Warm (bennyxbeth)

I hurried packing up my suitcases of all thing things I would be needing for our trip, Both benny and I were heading off Christmas to Harry's little house in Kentucky for a party over the holidays, Everyone was going to be there even Clio was flying over from Paris to come spend the holidays with us all so I finished up with my suitcase going and putting it by the door with my other bags.

"Beth... Do I need to remind you for the ninth time." Benny sighed as he was making coffee "I have a beetle."

"It'll fit" I answered, "where's your stuff?"

"Uhhh," he says indicating to himself and one battered old bag that I could tell from the shape was mostly full of books 

"Benny" I warn crossing my arms and glaring at him 

"I have enough clothes" he shrugs 

"Do you have a clean shirt every day?" I asked

"Yeah..."

"Do you have underwear-"

"Yes I have underwear beth I'm not six I can pack my own bag" 

I went over opening his bag to investigating he did have some clothes but not nearly enough of them the rest of his bag was taken up by his chessboard, some books and three boxes of condoms

"What are these for?" I asked holding up a box 

"what do you think?" he winked kissing my cheek "come on let's get going or we will never get there," he says grabbing some of my stuff to take to the car. so I took his bag and the rest we did ft it all in the car, Just. quickly getting in and getting comfy as I knew I was going to be sat here a good while. benny climbed in starting his car even if it coughed and spluttered a little and we began driving out the dark New York streets, the little lights of the city in the windows shining brightly so much due to the layer of snow on everything from last nights storm, the little flakes still falling twinkling in the city lights I went to turn on the heater but the rob came off him my hand "yeah that's broke" He says

"Reall I thought it was just working remotely" I answered sarcastically 

"don't you get that tone with me young lady" He laughs gently poking my face 

"Uhh benny!" I complain pushing his hand away "How long till we get there?"

"Several hours"

"This is going to be fun" I sighed wrapping my cardigan around me tighter he saw and moved his hand to the back a moment pulling out his long black jacket putting it in my lap

"There if your cold beth" 

"Thanks, benny" I smiled

"Your welcome" He smiled back "So when you spoke to harry do you have any idea what's going on with the sleeping?" he asks

"Ahh yeah I wrote it down," I said grabbing my handbag grabbing the little note I made with harry on the phone yesterday 

"Let me hear it"

"Right Obviously Harry is in his bedroom. He said Clio can share with him"

"Ohh she's gonna enjoy that"

"Towns is going in the guest room as there is only a single bed, however, where this space on the floor so matt and Mike said they would take the floor of the guest room"

"Right...running out of rooms here"

"Yeah, Jolene called dibs on the sofa"

"Right, So where are the boys going?"
